Thanks to sky for putting me in the Open tonight. It would have been nice to make the money, but my cards went as cold as ice as the blinds went waaaay up there. I ended up shoving with 58 and BOOM! I was gone to AQ. 91st place, 80 got paid, 700 entrants - I honestly don't think I could have done any better the way it panned out.
The funny thing was, I felt like I had Tikay on my shoulder all the way through! When you know your hands are going to be shown on TV and you know Tikay is the analyst, it definitely affects your play. There were were a couple of occasions I felt like raising under the gun with TJ suited, but Tikay on my shoulder told me not to! Put your name forward as a TV guest and you'll know what I mean.
