thank you JJ Dohhhhhhh for replying, see, I am back to my usual "writing in red" Team Poker Trev self. This, in red, is how I usually write, just on my team thread! I do however apologise for my ignorance about this clinic and I would like to thank Glenelg for inviting me to drop in to share my views and confessions to you about my villain hand! btw I understand completely now the difference between hero and villain ...... budgirl was out playing live poker last night when I got Glenelg's inbox and when he got home (without cashing, I might add!) hehe, I told him all about this and he said "omg, your reputation is in tatters!" But, you know what JJ ? I am going to try another UKOPS satellite, thanks to you :))) just maybe NOT raising with rubbish from under the old gun! Many many thanks for your reply once again Hope to play you in one of the coveted UKOPS events Lorraine :)))))

    Welcome to the clinic.

Most of us have seen your success in the DYM thingy so congrats on that. Hope you visit us again and post some hands up for us to have a look at. (Might even get your rep back on track if you post the right ones lol)

Your previous post about not liking to 3-bet pre with hands other than premium hands really touched a chord with me. I was like that for ages, scared of that one time the guy has AA or KK. I think over time i just thought 'sod it, i'm having this' and it works most times.

I also echo the posts on not apologising to Dohhhhhhh for nicking his chips. WP.

In Response to Re: MTT, o/pair facing 2nd barrell from tight player. : While JJ may well be good, villain is not calling a turn shove with worse if she is tight

There is meant to be a full stop before the word if.
And with AT she may call but i would prefer to not see the river in this spot as worst hand in her range can easily catch up so by shoving turn your winning the hand there and then i wouldnt worry about any hand better than JJ because of bet sizing so only gtting called by AT which may well call against Mr Dohhhh as he is a very aggro player.

Imo you are making far too many assumptions about villain from the info doh has given. How do you know what sizing she uses with different hands here? How do you know she doesnt raise A9 or other 9s utg?

Also what hands can easily catch up?
