the cash for points table is like this
4000   points                 £75.00
5000   points                 £100.00
6000   points                 £125.00
7000   points                 £150.00
8000   points                 £200.00
12000 points                 £350.00

what i would like to know is there such a jump from 8000 points to 12000 points?
Can we plz have 10000 points at £275.00.

Every "High stakes reg" Player on here must clear 10k points a month pretty easily i think

    .5/1 cash - 5-10
    £30 + sng player

Personally i use to clear 20k + a month but last few ive hit the 16k mark, ajs4385 must clear 30k+

Anyway i think the current system is fine but would love a poinrs store :)

It doesn't make sense to me.  If you hit 40k points, then Sky say they will give you £250 for every 4k points over that total.

Yet if you get 4k points only, then its something like £75.

The rate of rake that you earn sky doesn't change no matter how many points you get....

I'm due £150 this month, which I'm happy with as I didn't start playing until the 14th.

November is gonna be a big grind month for me!

No matter what Sky do they wont be able to please everyone. Its an extra bonus for everyone so it is a good thing. Just glad to see its unlimited now.

As for me I am on 40k with a couple of days to go.

i think itll be cus there giving such a large amount of cash back to you, so they make it a bit more awkward.

Is it that low, thats pretty awful compared to most rakeback deals.  You can get 30% on most sites cant you?

yes 30% is what most sites offer. If u play sit n go or mtt it works out at 10%, but for cash i think its less.
we need a math genius to work out av pot for a 50/1 table then some how convert it to cash for points

i will av a go at working it out

if avrage pot on a 50/1 table is £20 the rake is 50p.
30 raked hands is 20 points on 50/1,  so £15 paid in rake is 30 points.
lets say avrage 50/1 player gets 16000 points thats £500 back

    533.33 x 30 = 16000points
    533.33 x £15=£7999.9995

so u pay £8000 in rake to get 16000 points that is £500 back.
so i think skys cash for points works out at 8% rakeback. am i right? im not 100% sure

you are using the entire tables rake for the calculations of just your own.

if 6 of the same players played that amount of hands together, then it would be 8k rake and 3k returned.

skys system is so hard to work out because of the system it uses to calculate poker points, where so many rakes hands are not counted because of their retarded system; its an issue that i raised before and was told that the system is going to be change 'soon'

I used a general basis of 1 point per 10p in rake (I know this isn't strictly true but only a guidline). With that I reckon it's about 8-10% max

i agree with u scotty, i cany see y sky dont give rakeback like other sites.
i had a rep from another site ring me, one of the questions he asked me was how much rake do u pay a month at sky.
when i told him i dont no he was a bit shocked.
i think we should be able to see how much rake we pay
