tbf all poker sites that i know of dont just give you your gross monthly rake figure; you either have to be part of a rakeback scheme to get that data or mine it thru poker tracker.

as sky has no tracker support then this is impossible.

and by shocked the rep just wanted a sign up so wanted to make sky look as bad as possible.

the cash for points system is a good one but it does need to be clearer and needs to hvae a system that doesn't disregard loads of your hands if you sit up with you have been at 98 raked hands at a table it will only award you for 80 of them.

Agree with freechips. The gap between 8k and 12k is too big. There should be another level at 10k

I seem to reach 8k a few days before the end of each month

In Response to Re: cash for points:
I used a general basis of 1 point per 10p in rake (I know this isn't strictly true but only a guidline). With that I reckon it's about 8-10% max

No it's much better than that, I've worked this out before and it's actually a pretty good deal, particularly at the top end....

Using the 1 point per 10 pence, which is correct for tournament play as 10 points = £1 in fees:
    Points Bonus Rake %
    4000 75 400 19%
    5000 100 500 20%
    6000 125 600 21%
    7000 150 700 21%
    8000 200 800 25%
    12000 350 1200 29%
    16000 500 1600 31%
    20000 750 2000 38%
    24000 1000 2400 42%

If a rakeback scheme was ever introduced like the other sites, only new players are eligible for the rakeback bonuses neway.
Most sites sites like titan and party also use points rewards systems but are much clearer to work out what rakeback can be achievable.

It's that time of month when people start taking notice of how many points they've accrued, and I've got a question regarding the points system for cash tables...

I understand you get a certain number of points (depending on blind levels) for every 20 raked hands that you participate in, but what is the definition of participation? Do you have to have contributed to the pot, or simply been dealt hole cards??
