We set off at 19.00hrs. on Thursday 5th Nov via Northlink ferry from Lerwick to Aberdeen, arrive 7.30hrs on Friday 6th. collected from the ferry terminal by Arnold Clark Car Hire and in the most reasonably priced car they have head off for the deep south. Hope to arrive late afternoon in Manchester at the Park Inn Hotel, would love to have a couple of pints and a wee game in the Casino on Friday night (just to get my eyes focused under electric lights) anyone like to meetup for a chat and beer like to see you there. I'm bringing my good lady for the shopping not the poker, if any of you guys are bringing your partners and they need a shopping companion i have one. Looking forward to this tour. Wont make it , as if Sky couldnt have given us a seat at another venue Posted by wickyman
Hi Guys, What a lot of people seem to have forgotten is that, yes it is a Sky tour, but each leg is an entity in itself. I you KNOW you cant make the dates, don't try and qualify, because by doing this you are depriving other the opportunity of qualifying. However if you, after qualifying, find that you are unable to play, it is unfortunate, as your seat cant be put back in to the mix, you cant exchange for another leg and you cant sell it to someone else.
I hope there are not many who qualified and are now going to cry off.
If you win a seat for this, the only real excuse is a family crisis I'd say - if you have just received a better offer, then next time don't try to qualify..
I don't think any of us want a load of empty seats and for it to become a blind nicking luckthon

Yes - it would be nice to be able to exchange the seat for another venue - I'm sure it will happen in the future - Sky is ever evolving.
hi there, does anyone no how many people qualify to the final in this leg? also will there be satalites to the final or do you have to win a seat via one of the 5 legs?
