Great show so far boys. Good luck to you scotty on your 60k marathon - how many tables are you doing at once to attempt that feat?
Question for scotty - 99% of my poker 'career' so far has been playing 6 max tables in both cash and tournaments. I like to think I'm fairly good at 6 handed tables but when I go to the local G Casino in Sheffield it's nearly always 10 to a table in both cash and tournaments.
I haven't done too badly on the bigger live cash tables but wanted to know if you had any tips for the transition? Would your range tighten a little pre and post would you feel your hand is stronger than normal due to more cards being folded?
Question for Rich - When is your life story film coming out with Judge Reinhold as the star? When you are in the Hot Seat will he make an appearance?
Really good idea to have some of the best cash players on the site as analysts... Keep up the good work guys....Loving the show... Bring them live more often please...
Just came back from holidays...Thanks for keeping me company...
Usually play 10p/20p up to 25p/50p with average results making a small profit. However tonight I decided to play two Master Cash tables at 5p/10p and I had forgotton how different it is playing at this level.
Can you show Hand number 0460498435 which should give Ryan something to talk about.
re: the 73s hand, Advanced Metagame. If you stack off with 73s preflop in 1.4 k pots then in the 2k pots people will stack off with Ace high. Its a high variance play and not one i would neccessarily recommend, much like i wouldnt recommend 15-20 tabling for 6+ hours, makes you do crazy things!

Hi Ice what would you say are the differences between 5p/10p and higher levels, i am a struggling 2p/4p player and was just wondering how different it is at higher levels.

I would say that the standard picks up at 15p/30p or maybe that is my level.
2p/4p is fun and people call with anything. 5p/10p is the easiest to beat. Most players know a bit so play properly but can be beaten. Above this level, the standard is pretty good. Cbets don't win. In fact, you get three bet half the time. If you don't have notes on an opponent, you will probably lose.

I was joking^. i just misread what was going on after playing so many tables for so long. Was pretty gutting.

Players of a certain standard don't play below 15p/30p. I think you will find that 5p/10p is better to play because you don't get so many idiots. I know you want to be called by 83 when you raise with AA (as I did tonight & lost) but to be called by four players every time you raise is unreal. My son plays & has recently moved up to 5p/10p from 2p/4p and he is winning far more because players at least follow a pattern. If his AQ gets beaten, it is by AK rather than 94. It is realistic to win about £30 per night regularly playing four tables for three hours at this level.
I can relate to the " sighh ive lost a £100 quid pot, i could have bought ......", but i do it more with work hours. e.g Make £100 in an hour or 2, then go to work for 6 hours to earn half this money . sighhh (i hate my job).
Question for Scotty. When he became good, how old was he ? Did he have a job? And when did he quit ? , and if he did, what did his friends and family say when they knew he was quitting to play poker for a living.

Is this the last mastercash eva????
