    Can Ryan give me help on closing out MTTs
    T've not been playing long but always seem to accumulate chips till Iget to the top 20
    then it all goes wrong
    I try to play just premium hands but seeem to always get beat on the river
    What are the best ways to protect your stack?

    Richard stop putting yourself down mate you are by far the best male presenter on 865 who else would be given 5 shows in a row (or is it that no one else would do them over the Christmas/new year period)? As for Ryan he  makes a great apprentice to Tikay and he will do a great job when Tikay finally hangs up his Jackets.

    My question for Ryan is what are his poker aims for 2012.

    Can I just pick up on the 'going for the win' debate.

    Like Ryan says, it does matter about your BR & Tournament you are in. I managed to get a free entry, via the latest sky promoted football freerolls , into my only roller I have played. I was ONLY playing for the min cash and did slightly better which was a bonus.

    My question on top of this is....I am more and more just playing for a min cash as I am going through a downswing. Is this really the wrong approach? or should I carry on doing this until my results improve?

    I was so tempted to have a stab at one of these high stakes cash tables this evening, But I managed to resist !

    Love watching them though ! Scary

    Roll on the Primo tomorrow,  Defending champ, will my reign continue as Primo King, I will enjoy it anyway

    Re: Min cashing debate - I recently got into the UKOPS ME on a freeroll (Won semi seat on the show and qualified), and before the tournament I was pretty nervous and was only thinking of trying to min cash. However, once I got into the tournament, and especially the later stages, I loosened up (maybe a bit too much) and although I didn't cash, I probably played better than I would've if I'd just played for a min cash.
