i am so sorry to hear this news monster. i have been practicing a left-hand handshake for the next spt in anticipation of meeting lynne again. sorry ian.
My condolences to Ian and the rest of the family. Not much that can be said at times like this. Lynne was a pleasure to see at Sky Poker Tours and was one of the classiest people at the tables.
News like this is always awful - especially at this time of year. But what this shows is the strength and support you can get from a community like Sky. I hope it helps you through. I didn't know her but I know the feelings you are all going thro'. Condolences and courage from us to you.
Very sad news and condolences to Ian and all the family at a very difficult time.
I met Lynne many times at SPT events, I remember dealing a SNG at Blackpool, Mickjenn kept putting a bounty on Lolufold's head, the money just went into the middle, Lynne ended up winning that bounty, always smiling, always enjoying the game of poker win or lose!
She final tabled the Blackpool side event and had a huge Sky Poker rail, I remember she was delighted with that cash, Ian too
At Leeds she didn't complain once, even though the lift was broken, I always spoke with Lynne and Ian at SPT events, she was SPT, the last few and the next ones won't be the same without her.
She was incredibly brave in her last days, typifying the grit and determination Lynne had at the poker tables, Lynne and Ian are a credit to Sky Poker and our great community, we are all going to miss you Lynne.
Although I never knew Lynne or Ian I just wanted to say that it tugs at the heartstrings the way the community reacts when something like this happens. To the people who met her and knew her as a friend and of course to Ian my condolences.
condolences to Ian and the family at this terrible time, as has been written over and over again, Lynne and Ian were a joy at all SPTs and Lynne will be sorely missed,
