In Response to Re: Time4Timed : I understand what you are saying re: it is clear how long the tourney is ie XXmins or 6 levels etc. My point, and I hope I am not alone on this one, is I really feel there is a need for a 'countdown clock' as well. I appreciate there are pop up reminders but with said clock, it could make all the difference if you have a big decision to make if it is say 10sec to go or 40sec and you are in the BB next and are short. I have cashed in 2/2 so far but I just think this would be a useful addition when playing in a 'timed' tournament to know where you are at all times esp the crucial end bit.

Well as I noted, if they "take off", & generate enough interest, then a "Countdown Clock" has been designed, & will be added, but not until the Format has been thoroughly evaluated.

Some time today, a schedule of Timed Tourneys will be Posted here.

The times, durations, buy-ins, starting stacks, structures are all being examined this morning to see how they panned out last night, & the lessons learned will be incorporated.

note, there was a sort of count down clock. it start at a certain time and then u add the 30 mins on or 1 hour, but in the chat box it came up saying you were into the last minute. it might of come up with more but i was playing 5 tables at the time and only noticed that one..

    Hi all

Just to add to this, there's a series of timed tournaments in the lobby now.

You'll notice there is a specific lobby filter for them too so you can find them easier.

    Thanks

    Afternoon.

There are a whole raft of these Timed Tourneys this afternoon & evening.

Note, as stated in previous Post, there is now an Icon called "TIMED" in the Tourney Lobby,  to enable you to find the Timed Tourneys more easily. It is the 3rd Icon along, & sits between "Regular" & "Televised".

    Buy-ins for these today vary between £2.20 & £22.

Duration of these today varies, they include 15 minutes, 30 minutes, & 60 minutes.

    Starting stacks vary, & include 1,000, 2,000, & 2,500.

Blinds are either 5 minutes or 10 minutes.

    Guarantees vary, & include £100, £200, £250, £300, £400, £500, £600, & at 10pm, £1,000.

The schedule in the coming days & weeks will almost certainly vary, until these settle into the right balance of player demand.

    Am I missing something?

How can a 6-level, 5min per level tournament last 15 mins?

That was the "mystery" one I suggested last night!
Think there was also a 30min one that went on for an hour?

    Hi Kaymac

We spotted this and are correcting the description.

Of course the 15 min ones are three levels of five mins.

    Thanks

    Hi Keith.

Good spot, its a wording error.

    The 15 minute Tourneys tonight (they are @ 18.40, 20.40, 21.40 & 23.40) will run, correctly, for 15 minutes, being 3 x 5 minute Levels.

However, the wording in the Lobby says "Ends after Level 6". This wording SHOULD read "Ends after Level 3".

    Apologies. The baby is teething.

No need to apologise Tikay, just glad that it's been cleared up.

I find these great fun! Keep em coming.

One problem though- played in one at 17:05, it was meant to be a 30 min comp but it lasted an hour... ended up to my benefit but thats not really the point, the people knocked out in the extra 30 mins could feel a bit hard done by..

These are a lot of fun.  I have noticed that sometimes if you had the lobby open before the tournament started then the Payout chip equity table stops updating.

Also, is it possible to make the all the table rows clickable?  By that I mean on the Tables & Players tab you can click to hilight a row in the Players List, this makes it really easy to keep track of a moving player (usually myself, moving down the table).  At the moment the tables on the Blinds & Prize Structure / Tournament Overview tab aren't clickable.  Thanks.
