    Evening Ryan/Ross

If you a week to train Rich Orford and then you had to enter him in a $10k buy in tournament, which one would you choose and why? Also, what would be your top piece of advice for him.

I agree with Ross there, I was meaning spots where you have a a good chip lead. Like say 6handed, you got 100,000 and most others have 20,000 - 40,000k so if you get 3 handed you will still have a decent stack. I just saw in Gus Hansen's 'Every Hand Revealed' about him making sure he allows himself to cruise to short handed on the FT then he can really step it up.

Similar to a thing they say early in MTTs about just making sure you get through them early stages to give yourself the chance to play at the much more important levels of the tourney.

    Carrying on from Lamberts post.
In an MTT were you are chipped to the hilt what are the teams thoughts on stacking a premium hand if two or more short stacks go all in pre or after the flop? is it worth sacrificing your hand because you believe at least one short stack is going out?
Have Ryan or Ross ever folded tens or better preflop on a final table?

and on a lighter note have you checked your euromillions? someone from the uk won £45 m tonight!

Hi guys, enjoying the great show as usual.

    Please Read Out!!!*****   : />

    Question mainly on Ross's analysis...

With regard to the AKs vs AK hand, when you say to check behind on that wet flop, which is obviously fine. And i agree smaller bet by TommyD is wise imo. But with the check behind aren't you then liable to being taken off the hand? Its just giving you a tough decision on the turn if hes still around. But its getting rid of all underpairs and AK/AQ if i remember the flop correctly, AQ isnt sticking around.

Just curious as to whether you think checking behind is going to lead to you being taken off the pot?
Or is it going to hit your oppenents range too often to make that sort of play profitable, so then your plan would be to just check behind and fold to any bet?

MTT question for you guys which has been discussed on another show featuring Carlo. What is your view on final table deals, I know you cant on sky (at the moment) but do you think making a deal is a good idea. Carlo was against it as you play for the win but do you think it is a good idea to avoid potentially flipping for a lot of money?

Thanks for the master comments Rich! Always amuses me!

    Hey Jono

Thought I'd give my input to this.

Yes the raise size wasn't great, tbh it was the first hand after I made a bad call and I had very short term tilt.  I was trying to give the impresion to a player I have played a huge amount of the time and have a lot of respect for that I was trying to get it in.  I felt he was unlikely to float OOP light and would commit if he had a made hand.  Wasn't my best hand but that was the thinking behind it.

Hi Guys, looking forward to the show. Question for Ross... I know in poker everything is situational but in cash are you always happy to get your 100BB or less stack in pre flop with Ace King? I only play micro stakes and am happy to 3-bet with it but often try to avoid getting it all in pre where I am lilely to be racing if I feel I don't need to gamble to get money from my opponents. For example, how is it any different to the early stages of a tournament when stacks are deep and it is often advocated to just call a raise rather than go crazy with AK?  Also does it make any difference if you are playing full ring as opposed to six max?

Thanks very much for this Rich and Sky. I didn't ask the question with the comp in mind, just wanted to pick Ross' brains, so I'm really chuffed!

    Thanks again.

No probs, mate. It may well have been that I subconciously sensed it was a question genuinely asked purely out of interest that clinched it!

Hope you run good in tonight's main event.

Obv, I'll take the iPad2 as commission if you win it. ;-)
