There'll be one PLO event and one PLO8 event. As was the case last year, you'll be expected to play at least one of the Omaha tournaments.

All of the freezeout events will be £5.50 tournaments. There'll be two events each week.

Starting times?  I think if the 1st tournament starts after 7.30pm you'll get a lot more players who've made it home from work.

(not that I need it to be after 7.30pm or anything) ;-)

I would prefer them to be 3.30 buy-in instead of 5.50...

I think starting time should be around 8-8:30pm...

Don't panic, Aaron! The first tournament will start at 7.30pm; the second at 9.30pm.

Will there be a trophy this time?   Or maybe a bracelet?

    Hi James

Thanks for running another league, I will try and play as many as I can.  Can I just ask whether I can have the prize in advance please?
Also can you confirm that you will be making the rules up as you go along again?

    Cheers

An excellent idea! I will ensure there is an official ARL2 trophy (and no expense will be spent). It will be presented to the champion at SPT Cardiff.

    For the avoidance of doubt...

A player is eligible to be included in the league table if he/she has played at least eight ARL tournaments. These must include at least one Omaha event and one Timed Tournament. Each player's average score will be calculated on his/her eight best results - consisting of one Omaha event, one Timed Tournament and six other events.

In the event of a tie, the "single best result" rule will come into effect.

With the new live show on a Tuesday in mind,

    a) Will you be ineligible James if you miss a couple of weeks if the roster says you will have to do the tv slot ?

    b) If a does not occur, will there be any coverage of League games on there?

    Hi Alan,

    Good questions...

    a) I will not be hosting any Tuesday-night shows during the six weeks of the promotion.

    b) I'm hoping we can feature some coverage of ARL tournaments on channel 865.

Would love to take part but I get back from work around 8.30 on a Tuesday so won't be able to play in the 8 needed :(.  Oh well, maybe next time.  Good luck all and have fun.
