Just to vary the slant on what I said earlier.

I've spent the evening trying to recall how many UK Pros I know who are wealthy, or able to lead a comfortable lifestyle, without worrying about money.

I came up with about 4.

It's NOT easy to make big money at poker. Those who do, in the main, earn it "off-table", via interests in Online Rooms or suchlike.

Play small + enjoy big + owe nobody = worry none.

A lot of sense talked here. As has been said before play within your means always. At a level lower than the one Tikay talks about I have seen excellent poker players come and go over the years. One guy split from his wife, sold the house to bankroll himself in his dream of being a top rank pro. He lost the lot in under 2 years. Good players vanish with great regularity. Enjoy poker and improve your game but remember less than 1% make a profit in the long term. I know I am repeating what I have posted here before many times, but it's the truth.

Last thing.....ask yourself am I a poker player or a gambler ......there is a big differece in my book.

Ask Tikay when he last backed a horse....it might surprise you. I don't know the answer he'll give but I think I can guess.

1983, I think. Mind you, I lost enough before that to last a lifetime!

I bet on everything at one stage, with bookies, on the spreads, the lot. But I've not had a single bet on anything since the day I started poker.

I can say the same goes for me, I no longer bother with sports betting, casino games or any other form of gambling.

    my money's on launder

Your money should be on Launder for one of two reasons:

He works for sky and is making them money by fixing hands

He is not accually real, he is a poker bot

I know how it might sound but ive watched him and he hits mirical after mirical. He re-raises with rubbish but always comes out on top. He starts by losing a few hands then you watch him go, it is unbelievable (literaly)

Ask yourself why he never talks in the chat box, he has never been a phone in guest on sky poker, he has never been shown on sky poker in real life at say the WSOP event, or any event.

I am taking stats and watching ALOT of the table it sits on, im going to prove it.

I've never heard complaint of poker bots on sky, i think as there are very few real money web browser based poker platforms the bots to hit these kinds of sites are not readily available. i can guarantee that he doesn't work for sky on some kind of "Super User" account which seems to be what your saying. People always come up with these Theory's but you have to remember your dealing with one of the biggest media companies the world has to offer. Poker is not inly not Sky's main business interest but it would make up a pretty insignificant part of their income. (not saying the players are insignificant to sky, just the volume of money) Do you honestly think they would allow this to happen? the negative publicity of this kind of scandal would do untold harm to Sky as a corporation while the gain from allowing it to occur would be .....errrrmmmmmm....... wait a min i'm thinking..................No, No sorry can't think of one :)
