To everyone who I bad-beated in tonight's 7.30, £22 30 runner deepie - & there were lots of you - I'm sorry! No hands until the final, just crept into the Final under the Radar, then BOOM BOOM BOOM, & I sucked out on everyone. MereDonkey was horrified.
So, nearly £200 locked up. Trust me to be on PTP duty - & thus the winnings are not mine.

Hi thompson
It is accepted that you use between 2% and 10% of your bankroll, depending who you ask, I would suggest low level DYM,s, or if your bankroll can afford it deepstack tournaments, these are a great way to learn poker and you have plenty of time. Hope his helps
In Response to Re: Ask Tikay? : its about 1 in 650,000, same as in 5 card draw Posted by Aski
It's also the same odds as flopping a royal flush in Texas Hold 'Em. See the the opening post in the following thread for a method to calculate the odds.

Hi Thommo.
Have you played much poker before?
What is your Bankroll, or more likely, how much can you afford to spend (& possibly lose) per week?
Let me know, & I'll see if I can help.
If you are a compl;ete novice, you will lose a little money whilst learning. But if you grasp the basics quickly - & the best way to learn is to lose a little, as it hurts - you will very soon be a break-even player, or even profitable. Poker is just a hobby at our level, & most hobbies cost a little money.
Hi Tikay, I just wanted to ask what the odds are on a royal flush on the board? This happened to me when i was playing an mtt guaranteed game on monday 16th. Wish I had kept the hand I.D. so that it could be shown. Amazing to see naturally it was a split pot Cherrybank Posted by cherrybank
yep that was a nice hand babe. it was against me. ;lol
I have a heavy (non-Sky Poker) Meeting at Noon today, then will pop into G-Luton for the start of the 4 day APAT extravaganza, then continue North & go home to sort some stuff out. Tomorrow I'll be heading back South, (Friday on the M1/M40/M25, luverly), so it'll probably be Saturday before I can get on the case properly.
Thanks Jock. I will be back Online Friday afternoon or Saturday morning, & I'll answer you then. May I ask you something too - what part of Wales are you from, & what make of car do you drive? Posted by Tikay10
You made me spill my drink. lol
Oh the BMW is a bike, as I work for another car manufacturer I don't think they'd take to kindly to me driving a Beemer

And it depends on how much you can afford to spend, & potentially, lose.
As a genereral rule, cash play is less volatile, & has less variance, than Tourneys. And in Tourneys, DYM's have the least Variance & Volatility.
As a big follower of PNL I have been following your thread with Ladyfingers, I await with baited breath on the story of the very sad demise of PNL.
Who came out on top in the money stakes when the presenters played in the televised tourneys?
you ask a question concerning the ''sky live tv programe'' and you get as follows:
''Thanks General.
What exactly was your question, please? ''
''LOL''
thats y i luv this site!!
always avoiding the OBVIOUS hey TIKAY?
I'll try & get back onto this asap.
