    Hi kelly

I would suggest copy, and pasting the hands that you are losing with AA and KK to the poker clinic to see if there is something you are doing wrong :)

    Good afternoon.

Apologies for lack of replies by myself in the last few weeks, whilst I've been away.

I returned to the London office today, but I have the Show tonight, then I head down to Cardiff tomorrow, for the weekend.

I'll get up to date by the early part of next week, all being well.

Many thanks to those who answered questions on my behalf, & to all those who posed the questions, keep the questions coming please.

Not aware he's gone anywhere, Mr Me, but I've been awol myself for a month or so, so I would not know, to be honest.

But he contacted me via MSN after the Show last night, & said he will be down @ SPT Cardiff this weekend, so if he turns up, I'll ask him!

    Hi Slim

It probably seems unfair, Slim, but if you think about the maths, it all adds up.

At the sharp end of Tourneys, almost every time we play a hand, all our chips are at stake. Let's say we go for 5 consecutive 50% - 50% flips - which CAN happen.

Think about the odds of winning 5 "flips" on the bounce - then it becomes easier to come to terms with why we all suffer so many beats late in Tourneys.

Might be worth remembering that if you motor with a small stack, most all-ins will be for our Tourney life, whereas if we motor with a big stack, losing all-ins are not "fatal".

Also, if you have no "edge" in a Tourney, no advantage or disadvantage over the rest of the field, you will only cash in 10% of the Tourneys........so you'll fail to cash 9 times in 10.

    Sobering thoughts, I'm afraid!

    Thanks, Loony.

I cleared most of the PM backlog after I finished the Show last night, & got fully up to date this morning, & have now replied to your PM, too.

I will try & deal with the matter this weekend, though I'm off to Cardiff in the next half hour, & SPT weekends are pretty hectic.

    Apologies for the delay.

I'm very sorry to hear about this, Swipey.

It IS "outlawed" by Sky Poker.

When you see, or are subjected, to such abuse.....

    1) Make a note of the name of the abuser.

    2) Do NOT respond, or engage with them

    3) Report the matter to Customer Care immediately.

Customer Care WILL take the appropriate action, & Chat Abuse is NOT permitted.

Players who abuse the Chat Facility, or this Forum, are warned, or chat-banned, or fully banned, depending upon the severity & circumstances. You only have to see the complaints on the Forum about players being "unfairly banned" to see that!

Once again, I'm sorry you were subjected to this. Hard to imagine what sad lives people live when they have to resort to abuse becaue they lose a hand of poker, eh? I often wonder how they cope with adversity in life.

cheers tikay,so  the combination of DONK play and all the odds against doesnt make the ideal combination for making the bubble, the odds wont realy change much so I have to, thanks for the advice , can you recomend a decent tackle shop i think i need a new hobby

Next leg is the grand final at DTD in Nottingham on the 10th/11th September (it's a 2 day event).

Satellites are running and in the lobby now.

    Hi Tony

Very nice meeting you in Cardiff, hopefully meet up again at SPT Nottingham had a great weekend. The sky team were great and the banter between the teams was top notch, was a bit spooked when I phoned the wife at the dinner break and the first thing she said was you ate your tea quick, cant go anywhere these days.

Would be a great if they could record the whole thing but will leave that to the IT guys and gals.

    Regards

    Andy
