Sky Poker ALWAYS have some "fun promotions for all" at Xmas.
Details will be available soon. Very soon.....
Incidentally, UKOPS is not "just for High-Rollers", a very affordable satellite schedule is available to suit most pockets.
In Response to Re: Ask Tikay? : I think i'll give it a go. He's asking for a 1k Jackpot if you bink both the daily £11 BH's at 2pm and 4pm. Posted by splashies

No probs i think it's a good idea...
A jackpot for the two biggest tournies during the afternoon. Think £1k is a bit optimistic. But maybe a £250-£500 jackpot would be good for business and increase numbers.
Also it will benefit people who cant play the evening mtts due to work etc.

Hi Tikay im new to sky poker and haven't got a huge bankroll at 35 pound I play cash games 2p/4p, and on those blinds almost everyone limps. So when im on the button with a mediocre hand do i put in a raise or fold because i call most of the time and then the rest of the players may hit on flop and i fold with possibly the best hand please can you give me any advice ty
why where u not in your tournement i won caption contest to play u in it and u werent there very disapointed a bit of false advertisment me thinks and then get 2 heads up had double the other persons chips then near enough every hand goes 8/10 for opponent would nt mind if i was getting beaten by aces kings queens buut he was always hitting low pairs i.e 2s 4s 6s just doesnt seem right at all ...disappointed player ;,(

Hi Johnny,
Welcome to the site. There is an excellent guide written by Dohhhhhhh (a very good cash game player on this site) on how to beat the low stakes cash games, so here it is:
1. Stick to playing very strong starting hands, AJ, AQ, AK, and most pocket pairs. Whenever you play a hand, always make a decent raise (16-20p at least) and that should thin the pack a bit. 2. Never slowplay at low stakes cash games... if you've flopped top pair, two pair, 3 of a kind etc ALWAYS bet it. You don't want to give people a free chance to see cards that help them but more importantly you don't want to miss the opportunity to get more money in the pot. 3. You should very very rarely bluff at these levels because frankly most players aren't good enough to realise you're trying to show strength and fold.
hi bud from experience tikay is a very busy man, with many committments, and unfortunately from time to time can not always take part in the take on tikay touraments, ha does however play in as many as possible, likewise I'm sure he will reply to your question as soon as he gets the chance

I think the main things to keep in hand are:

Good luck at the tables!
