do you have a lucky 15 to post? as per the thread? or just be a WUM all your (long, tedious) life?? surprise me and give a lucky 15 prediction cos we both know im clearly waiting on you to let yourself down again and post rubbish, it'll make me look really stupid, so go on, youve a big chance post something constructive im not sure you have it in you?

In Response to Re: cheltenham lucky 15 : Thats ok barbie, nothing to do with how much money you have.  The odds for one horse coming up are better than all four so why have same amount of money on the singles as the four timer . Thats why Bookies started the Lucky 15 you wager too much on the unlikely event and not enough on the likely. So here goes for your £20 Have four singles at £3 win or £1.50 Ew =£12 Have 6 Doubles at 80p win or 40p ew = £4.80 Have 4 trebles at 60 p win or 30p ew = £2.40 Have Accumalator at 80p win or 40p ew =£0.80 Total £20  Then if you have one winner at 6 -1 or more you make a profit and the other three are running on the bookies money not yours. Get all four and you get a very nice return. Father V

    Hi Vaigret, Thank you

I actually put the bet on and then read your advice :( thought i would get more but with 3 places and a win got £53 from £4.50, not bad but was a tad dissapointed.

Tomorrow i probably will limit myself to £5 again can you give me an idea of how i would do it you way? all seems a bit confusing for me, i will check in tomorrow before lunchtime

Thank you Young Gun and Wynne.

Young Gun for a Fiver I would split as follows(as long as you are not picking a horse under 3-1)

    4 x Win Singles at 50p =2.00
    6 x Win doubles at 20p = 1.20
    4 x EW Trebles at 15p =1.20
    1 x Ew Accum at 30p = 60p

Obviously it depends on how confident you are of getting four placed. If you are a bit doubtful increase the stake on the doubles or do them EW
What it comes down to really is the lower the prices the more parts of the bet you do to win and the higher the more you do each way. That is unless you really know value ie a horse that is 16-1 might have a much better chance than one at 6-1.

    Good Luck

If you take the formline where it slammed Bold addition and Ackertack then follow Bold Additions form it matches up to 4l behind Grand Crus
Who knows who'll perform on the day?
