ok richard got details now pal, 24868.75 5.50 buy in 9.20 pm timed tourney. £62.17 profit Posted by darkie6212
That's an enormous ROI, mate. Many. many congrats.
1030%!
That is going to extraordinarily hard to beat this week.
Keep an eye on this thread, I'll announce the winner at just after midnight. If no-one beats that score, then your name will automatically appear in the tournament lobby of tomorrow night's Sky Sports Bounty Hunter at 8pm.

Ah. Not ideal. What weeknight are you around in the next 7 nights?
And just out of interest, was that £62.17 profit (i.e. after you'd deducted your buy-in), or £62.17 total prize?
Did pretty rubbish in these tonight but just cashed for £47.40 in the £11 10pm tourny. A ROI of 330.9%, not good enough to win but puts me in profit for the night on these
In Response to Re: THE ORFORD TIMED TOURNEY CHALLENGE- BACK ON TONIGHT WEDNESDAY AUGUST 1ST- 7PM TILL MIDNIGHT : I worked this out as 1243.4% or 1,143.4% - I'd subtracted the rake as this doesn't go into the prize fund so counted buyin as £5.00 but.... I suppose your way is technically correct. Posted by Slykllist
I've never subtracted the rake for the calculations on anyone's profits across the whole challenge, Slykllist, so I think it would be unfair to start now.
Also, if it was 1243% then it would beat my website record of 1226% and I'm not having that! Lol. Although, if that was the case then I would have to recalculate my ROI without the rake so presume I would still be ahead!
While we're on the subject, I've just posted a new blog on timed tournaments. For those who are interested, you can click on it here . Please leave comments at the bottom of it, particularly any thoughts or tips on timed tourneys you fancy sharing with everyone. He made a total earnings of £62.17 so a profit of £56.67 after u subtract £5.50 for the buy-in then after the calculation it a ROI of 1030% if u don't subtract the buy in it's 1130%

Yeah, I realise that now Rich after reading the rest of the thread hence me deleting my post. I had worked it out previously for my Olympic thread as darkie6212 not only turned a VERY impressive ROI but also emulated Bradley Wiggins in winning a Gold medal for Team DYM Legends in the Cycling Time Trial..... Impressive stuff!

N1 Golden, 330% would have won on other weeks but you were up against a monster this time!

no sorry take 5.50 off that richard, next monday will prob be better if thats ok???
Well done mate. Now normally you'd be automatically entered into tomorrow night's Bounty Hunter, but since you genuinely didn't reaise this was the prize and you're not available then, I'll stick you in whatever the main event is on Monday night at 8.
Please note everyone, I'm not usually allowed to do this and I won't be slotting winners into tourneys of their choosing in the future because it becomes a bit of nightmare for the admin team!
I suspect the buy-in will be slightly less than tomorrow anyway, so darkie6212 has had to take a bit of a hit there in order to accomodate him.
Good luck in it though, mate and I hope you cash big on your freeroll. Look out in the tourney lobby on the day, your name should be in there.
Cheers to everyone else who played tonight and see you next Wednesday!
