Unlucky rock thats a sick one! , i guess if you flat the raise or even 3bet and see a flop without goin in you stil go broke if an ACE doesnt hit

And ino i couldnt fold KK pre but if i sattelited in and i could really do with the money then yea i wouldnt question a fold due to that short stack pretty much goin out for sure with next few hands

i think u say it all when the short has 1and a half big blinds its an easy fold and u cash even if u have aa its a fold to the money imo

There's no way I'm ever folding KK or AA on a tournament bubble regardless of the other stacks. If I'm in it I'm in it to win it. Folding monsters to guarantee a mincash is a -ev strategy in my opinion.

In fact I'd suggest the opposite. If there are a lot of satellite qualifiers in the field who tighten up to make the money it's a good idea to widen up your opening range and pick up lots of easy chips.

Rock can leave with his head held high, he was very unlucky this time, but he 100% made the correct play. As Young Gun says that's poker.

Maybe in the World series of poker main event if you satellited in for £100 and you need the cash you can but in this tourney for £200 absolutely no way , never ,ever !!

We looking to min cash or get healthy?

    VUL THEROCK.

Who won?  Watched about 40 mins @ 300/600 lvl where Nagrom and batkin were pretty much owning it.

What was with all the limping @ 6 handed table in £110BI?

Grim Limp call coolers, wanted to throw something at the screen :p

Guess result of decent portion of field sating in.

Similar to me THEROCKS but I went 2 off the bubble in 43rd.  blinds 1500/3000 I have 90k so sitting comfotably and cd just fold for min cash if that was what I wanted... but get KK early pos do standard raise; get a 3bet from player with double my stack; I jam he calls TT hits T on turn sob sob.  Also wnet one off the bubble in TSP play off with QQ v AQ A on river.  bad night.

There is NO WAY im folding KK on the bubble, I would have done exactly the same. If all your looking for is a min cash in this sort of MTT you might as well play a £110 dym.

KK holds against the lower pair as it does more than 80% of the time, its a cooler and why we always come back for more. It just could be our lucky night.

VUL to the two KK hands.

LOLz at this advice. The only time I'd even consider doing this is in a satellite, cos the shorty is likely to go out soon. Otherwise I'm getting them all in the middle, whatever stage the tourney's at. Winning this hand would've given him a good chance of making it further up the cash ladder where the serious money is and getting to the serious money is what playing tourneys is all about, not min cash every time.

I know how you feel rock came one of bubble in ukops main, it's a horrible place to be after playing for so long and getting nothing back.

Gary in this situation what you are saying is ridiculous. A lot of players would of satellites in for 5 or 24 so a min cash is huge to those people. But in the long run yes it's negative. If the min cash meant a lot to you rock then in future just fold, if it doesn't then fine go with kk, vul though sir and solly too it's a sick place to be!

Edit- you bought in so super standard spot here, just saying if your playing well well above your br just fold kk, it's one pair at the end of the day. Ul though mate, nasty spot to be In!

If your plan is too min cash just enter a £110 double your money instead.  In a tournament im looking for every spot i can get to ladder up.

if the min cash (~£217) is a big boost to your roll just fold the KK and switch up the gears once you've cashed. sometimes you've got to swallow your pride and admit that its more important not to go out than it is to play the hand well.

in this situation you had a ~20% chance of losing £217 if your KK gets cracked

edit - as you bought in direct its super standard...ul
