A few names have been highlighed there.

    Dave Thompson is "Solar Carro".

You will know of Micky Wernick & Marc Goodwin.

Jon Young is the chap from WPT Magazine who often appears on Channel 865.

"Richard Milne", & "Richard Milner" are both very good players, so should not be confused with "Richard Milner", Head of Poker here at Sky Poker.

If there are any more Sky Poker players on that list, make yourself known, so we can cheer you on!

For now, Dave Thompson is the guy who we will be railing on Saturday.

I'm pretty sure a good few more Sky Poker regulars will be playing on Day 1b & Day 1c, too,  including Scotty77, Thewy, Jamie Hurst, Nick Pryce, &, I assume, many others.

    Tikay.....

'The overnight chip counts - reproduced from elsewhere WITH PERMISSION, are as follows.....'

That is obv a dig at me! I apologise as I did not realise. I was just trying to keep this forum up to date as there was nothing official going on here.

I shall personnelly send the author an apology now.

    Alan,

100%, it was NOT a dig at you. I had not even seen your previous Post.

I put "WITH PERMISSION" for a variety of reasons, which include.....

    1) This tournament will generate a lot of noise and interest between now & Monday, hopefully with several Sky Poker players doing well. I hope that we get a lot of positive vibes on here about it.

    2) As you & I & everyone else knows, when we do a Team Sky Poker "live" outing, & it is updated on other Forums, we do not allow links to those other Forums, so everyone on the thread starts saying "PM me the link" etc. I was trying to anticipate that, & generally ask Sky Poker players NOT to C & P without permission. It was a subtle hint aimed at all - not you. I had not seen your Post.

    3) It is doubly awkward for me, because, as you know, I wear lots of hats in poker, including owning 25% of the site in question, & having total responsibilty for that Forum. Accordingly, I have to wear my sleeves rolled up here all the time, sort of "look, no spam, nothing up my sleeve", & I NEVER mention the name of the site here. Ever. Nor do I try to cross-promote in that direction.

Thats it, no more, no less. It was not aimed at you.

I also have your PM next door, you'll pardon me if I don't reply to that, hopefully this reply suffices.

All of us at Sky Poker are desperately trying to make this Forum a better, & more cheerful place. We hope others will buy into this mindset, & keep this place somewhere we all enjoy using.

Again huge congrats to Dave for making day 2!!!!!

Good Luck to all sky poker players playing today.  Notice Jamie Hurst table 43 seat 1.  He has bash mahmood on his table who did very well at the 6 max tourney I know Dave came across him and said he was very aggro

Carlo playing today too table 52 seat 3

Robert Shields - didnt he win an spt?  or final table?  hes on table 56 seat 2 - may have him mixed up though?

Ian Bruce (lebruce) table 73 seat 5

Jamie Burland playing today too table 15 seat 1

Im sure I will have missed people but a quick scan through and these were the ones i recognised.

    Good luck all
