Caption comp with Darren telling tikay a joke Darren:Whats pink, smells of wee and goes in, out, in, out? Tikay: Dunno Darren:Tikay doing the Hokey-Cokey. Tikay: LOL the door is that way darren
In the caption is Tikay saying " you done good kid! but here on sky we give proper prizes for proper competitions 4000 spondulees and a pukka trophy! not cocolate coins on a ribbon for egg and spoon races"
Richard, I assume it has been a good show. I might take the mick but both you and Ryan are always very good. (I mean I take the mick out of you Richard. Ryan is far too nice to be mean to)
I binked my SPT Blackpool seat a few moments ago, at the first time of asking. I did so despite playing some of the worst poker of my life. Less than one Big Blind when 5 handed with 4 seats available. Major binkage for the win!
It's made all the sweetter by living within two minutes walk of the G casino. However I would like to apologise to all my opponents for being a luckbox and binking them out. Especially memfno... I'm not sorry but I sympathise.
Good luck for the rest of the night. I'm going to go and celebrate with some Dr. Pepper! Party time!
Re: Poker School topic - I posted "Raise" earlier, but as I was too busy playing random Facebook games to remember to enter the main and mini, I'll write about Pocket Aces instead. I play a lot of DYMs, so on the bubble, there's occasionally situations where it's correct to open fold AA pre-flop. Unfortunately, there's no TV DYMs so don't have a hand to send in which would illustrate this. For example: £10 + £1 DYM, top 3 win £20 each. Chips stacks are as follows (for instance) Seat 1 = 1,500 Seat 2 = 500 Seat 3 = 5,000 <---- Us. Seat 4 = 5,000 For this example, we're in Seat 3. We've got the cash pretty much locked up, and with the prize structure, ICM says our chip stack is worth very close to £20 - For convenience, let's say our stack is worth £19 as I'm not sure what the exact amount is. Seat 1 and Seat 2 fold. We're dealt Aces in the Small Blind, and we're against Seat 4, who also has 5,000 chips. In this situation, it would be correct to open fold AA. Our stack is worth £19 and as we can only cash for £20, so if we get stacks in, we're essentially risking £19 to win £1. Of course, Seat 4 should know it's a fold with ATC, but if not, we get called, it's -EV to be playing AA in this situation. Posted by EvilPingu
Not AA, but had a situation like this with KK and would've made the same fold with AA.
