hi belsibub oh yes,ty i'd forgotten about that. will be making an extra effort to get amap.
we all know what day it is today, so will rest up ready 4 the weeks grind ahead. playing just the 10am & 7pm freerolls. 10.00am 15/149 won £0.50 final hand got chips in 60/40 fav. 7pm 73/429 card dead exit hand all-in kq lost to 10 3 villain hit 3
enjoyed the wonderful athletics last night, looking forward to mens 100m today... not sure that Bolt's going to win? but i'm sure it will be exciting anyway. 8.34pm changed my mind about Bolt after watching semi-final. lol have a good day all!!
nice recovery Dev, Glad you found out the best way to use my advice about the higher buy-ins (ie ignore it completely) Impressive grind - keep it up - lol with the timed mtts - but don´t get too distracted - mtt variance can be brutal (yeah, even worse than your dyms) GELDY Posted by GELDY
hi GELDY, ty m8, yeah, have tried taking all advice on-board,& i thank yourself & everyone else for all the help. just can't seem to get anything going @ the £5 level atm,so just have to gring it out @ £3 which i am more than happy to do. i always knew the £5's would be tougher as just about everyone can play to a decent standard. i do hope to get back there again at some point but it won't be until i am properly rolled for it, and even then i think next time it will be with caution as all my efforts so far have been unsuccessful.
as for the mtts,i can't see me going down that road atm, just thought i'd try 1 or 2 just to see how i get on. going to fully concentrate on my dym challenge & once it is over will have a re-think.
played average ran rubbish,so can't complain at losing tonight. looks as though i will have to wait a bit longer b4 i hit the magic £500 barrier. still,i have had a good run the last week or so,so i am still happy with how it's all going as a whole. back tomorrow
Awesome effort Dev, Great to see your bankroll is still growing, but its a mammoth effort your putting in so its no less than you deserve. Chuffed for you m8 :-) Posted by Woogie8688
ty Mike, yes, getting there slow but sure. i think getting to £500 will be a nice boost as i will then be 'in the home straight' well not qiute, but u no wot i mean. how u getting on,still winning? best wishes dev
"is it really 100 days since i started..... feels like 200." lol
playing 12.30pm freeroll atm.89/138
i've been thinking..... yes,dangerous i know.
i am aborting the name 'MISSION IMPOSSIBLE' as it is no longer relevent imo.
my original plan was to try & get from £40 to £1000 asap by using the 20 buy-in rule for each level. i did manage to get to level 3 but as hard as i tried i couldn't manage to get any further. i did attempt this level a number of times & each time without success. also,i have no intentions of trying these levels again atm.
so as far as 'MISSION IMPOSSIBLE' goes,it is over, yes sadly,it has beaten me.
i will continue though 'grinding'my way hopefully up to the £1000 target that i originally set myself, playing mainly at the £3 level with the odd £5 games thrown in,possibly? i am not sure what i will be playing then? probably more dym,may even try the £5's again? or simply continue playing £3,depending on how the next few months turn out.
i will continue posting my results each day. it is only the name that i am changing the target still remains.
i think i will re-name it simply to' £40 to £1000...dev's DYM grind'
i would like to thank everyone
for all the great support i have received right from day 1,it really has been most appreciated & has helped me through the low days and helped to take me through to where we are now... almost 1/2 way there. i hope you will continue with the journey... to it's conclusion. best wishes (* *) ^ dev
