ok,
i,ve got £40.71
in my sky poker account,

my mission,
should i choose to accept it;

to turn it into £1000

there is no time frame,
and should i fail...
i,ve lost £40.71.
i can live with that.!!!

sounds easy enough,
if you say it quickly....
doesn,t it?

how you going to do it?
you may well ask.
i,ll tell you,

level 1
£40.71
(20x £2  buy-ins)
i,ll play £1 & £2 dym,s only
until i reach

level 2
£60
(20x£3 buy-ins)
i.ll play £2 & £3 dym,s only
until i reach

level 3
£120
(24x£5 buy-ins)

i,ll play £3 & £5 dym,s only
until i reach

level 4
£240
(24x£11 buy-ins)              memo;PLAY A MAXIMUM 2 X £11 GAMES ONLY
i,ll play £5 & £11 dym,s only
until i reach

level 5
£396
(24x£16.50 buy-ins)             memo;PLAY A MAXIMUM 2 X £16.50 GAMES ONLY
i,ll play £11 & £16.50 dym,s only
until i reach

level 6
£528
(24x£22 buy-ins)                     memo;PLAY A MAXIMUM 2 X £22 GAMES ONLY
i,ll play £16.50 & £22 dym,s only
until i reach

level 7
£792
(24x£33 buy-ins)                memo;PLAY 2 X £33 GAMES ONLY
i,ll play £22 & £33 dym,s only
until i reach

level 8
£1000

my target,
job done....

GAME OVER.

ok,
it may not be that simple....
but you get the idea.

anytime i drop below the 20 buy-ins
i,ve allowed myself for each level,
then i will drop down to the level below
and try and work my way back up again.

i know that JOHN CONNOR has done a similar challenge
not so long ago, which i,m glad to say was successful.
it was through reading john,s "abc of dym,s" blog
that first got me interested in playing dym,s.
i also followed john,s dym challenge with great interest,
and now look here,s" little old me" attempting the same thing...
well pretty much,i think.!!!

just hope i don,t fall at the first hurdle...
oh, sorry the grand national,s done and dusted.
ps,
just remembered,i came 2nd & 4th in that....
would you believe it.!!!

if i do....
i guess i do.!!!

anyway,
just thought i,d give it a go
and see where we end up.

i,ll start it off tomorrow,
bit late now and my fingers hurting...lol

i,ll post after most sessions,
good and bad...
and hopefully
give you something to read about,
well,if anyone is interested anyway.!!!

that,s all for now...
:-)

gl with this, it is quite an aggresive strategy for yourself after all your posts proclaiming to be an absolute bankroll nit.

get off to a good start n im sure u will be fine.

    run good

    thank you tintin,

yes,you are right about me being a nit mate,
but this is my chance to change all that.

i could easily build up a b/roll playing with that strategy
    as i have done already.
    (i have withdrawn £800 in total,since i started on-line)
it,s now time to see if it can be done another way.
i know that it won,t be easy,
wouldn,t want it that way anyway....
    where,s the challenge in that.

think it will come down to getting off to a good start
as you say,and being able to carry out my plan in full,
and not thinking too much obout the ammounts involved.
as i,ve not played above the £3 level,
it surely will be a mental test more than anything i think.

    anyway,
    it all begins tomorrow.

    ps,
i,ll do my best in trying to avoid you....
i know how good you are.

    :-)

    yes,
    thinking about it now....
i,ve observed you playing on your 6 cash tables
    a number of times,
trying to pick up some tips 4 free.
it must have done me some good
as i have won nearly $250 playing on another site
    over the last 5/6 weeks.
obviously not at your level yet....
    but there,s hope.
    i think....lol

    thanks again tintin,
    yeah,quite surprised myself really.
just goes to show you,you really can achieve something
if you go about it in a positive way.
i had played on sky cash tables 2p/4p mainly
    since 2010,nearly 2 years now...
and know matter how hard i tried,
and believe me,i did put in alot of hours playing,
i think from memory 2 months running
    over 120 hours each month,
i still only came out even.
    mind you,
    i did earn £200+ c4p...lol
    anyway,
going to watch the football now
so i,ll say goodnight to you all.
    sweet dreams

GL with this. In my experience grinding DYMs is very grueling and time consuming, and to make quick progress you obv. need to multi-table. I've recently started to play more cash and tourneys cause I'm just fed of of grinding DYMs (even though i make a profit from them)... but yeah hope you crush this challenge as quick as poss. so you dont have to suffer the mindnumbing...ness of it! :)

An interesting challenge. I'll watch with interest ...gl. Nice to see if you notice changes in strategy etc as you move up levels....

    thanks el  mogul,
have to agree with you about them being grueling & time consuming.
not to sure exactly how many tables i will be playing...
probably start off with 2 maybe 4 & take it from there.

    *********************************

    thanks too, profman,
yes, should be interesting as you say....
    well hopefully anyway.
it will be an all-out challenge,
i will either crash & burn early
or hopefully, see it through to the end.

    ok
    so where are we...

    oh yeh,MAY 01
    6.20am
    up early....
been thinking about my challenge that lies ahead.

    right...
    am going to re-name it;
    going to change it to;

    £40 to £1000 dev,s DYM...MISSION IMPOSSIBLE.

    DECIDED TO ACCEPT THE MISSION.

    so will start this evening....sometime,
can,t disclose the exact time obviously
    4 security reasons.!!!

been thinking what odds i might get...
    i,ve calculated that it,s about
    25/1
    to turn £40 into £1000.
(well £1000 is 25 times more than £40)
so those are the odds that i,m giving myself anyway.
so does this mean that should my mission fail...
    which it obviously won,t...
as i don,t know the meaning of the word fail...do i.!!!
i can have another 24 goes...
    until i succeed...lol

    seriously,
i know it,s not going to be an easy one this...
    but then again....
    you never know,
    do you?

    :-)

Ups and downs, but mostly downs last month, lol.

I guess you could say it's emotional, yeah - losing £250 in a day certainly stings a little. Hopefully that won't happen this month, fingers crossed.
