    hi again m8,
glad you are enjoying it more by playing less.
not sure how things will pan out 4me.
obviously playing plenty atm with my challenge running.
not sure what i will be doing once it's over.still looks as though this will be running for a month or 3 yet.
play it by ear i guess.be nice to get up to the £5 level but maybe that's for the future & not right now?
still enjoying the challenge though, guess i'll miss it once it's finally over.
    be lucky
    :)

DAY  121 wed  29/8/12 part 1 lost £39.10 b/roll £600.60 c4p 83 total 4667 = £84.00 to come day off work...raining,just like winter out there today. another losing session.not enough £3 tables for me so played some £5's. ran really horrible again so tbh could have been a whole lot worse. think i must have been on bubble 8/10 times all-in with villain dominated & lost every one. yes i know you forget all the other times when you win but come on.... dominated. just can't win at this level atm so another attempt has failed. still,i'm not the kind a guy that gives in easily,so i'm sure i will be back there again... so look out 4me boys...mentioning no names. i'm still doing ok though & with c4p just around the corner,i am still more than happy with this months results.... so far!!! be lucky :) dev

    Hi Dev,

    Yep - Poker'z a bee-yatch!

Don't worry, I've had a horrendous couple of days this week too.

I lost connection & abt £150 on Sat.

Then I had the worst session of my life on Bank Hol Mon.

As Sky are giving us a little extra for our C4P's this month, I thought it would be a good idea to join the 'bigger boys' on the £30, £50 & £80 DYM's. Bosh - I ran like a dog with malaria & blew another £700 - a whole month's grinding down the pan, just like that.

The truth is, I'm not good enough to multi-table @ those levels, so was getting exploited by the better players -on top of losing my flips & dominating races.

The moral of this story is - you might see a lot more of me on your tables next month!

    Run good bud,

    Jingle.

    hi Jingle,
sorry to hear about your losses m8,kinda puts mine into perspective.
it's tough moving up levels isn't it.as i well know myself.
i guess there must be a reason why we lose but i've no idea what it is.
i'm guessing it is simply down to it being that little bit more aggressive than the levels we normally play at.
also,it does seem to me that if you do lose those important 50/50's & then u r chasing & then that gets you into trouble.
    anyway,
as i always say,'it's only money' &  money won at that.so it's by no means the end of the world.
i'm sure you will grind it back,so see you soon m8.
    'be lucky'

    Hi Dev,

Thought I should post as I'm a frequent reader of this diary for a source of inspiration and drive to keep me going myself.
Like yourself I primarily play DYM games although much less volume, and most of that is at the £3.30 level, however likewise I have taken a few shots at the £5.50 level and haven't managed to crack it yet but will keep peservering, my recent MTT cashes have given me a few more shots :D

Anyway keep plugging away and you'll be back in the £600s again in no time! GL

    DAY 123
    friday 31/8/12

    won £21.90

    b/roll £617.40

c4p it says 4946 = £89.03  *c4p is wrong as my points are not being added correctly for each game played.
funny really,as this is the 1st time i have noticed it and it just so happens to be when sky have introduced the extra 'super c4p' this month....coincidence?

anyway, that aside, nice to get back to winning ways...at last.
    back later

    Hi Dev,

Good to see you are back on winning ways.

Another question for you if you don't mind.

I am at 3.30 level, I am down about 35 quid over the last few days, which I know is nothing compared to your losing days, and others however I don't think it is varience that is killing me.

Back when I used to play these roughly a year a go with success, the games used to end about level 7.  It is very rare that they finish before level 8 now, and often seem to get to level 9-10 plus.  I am nearly always doing o.k until about level 8, but started to get blinded out pretty quick.  I have gone away and changed my game a bit, identifying who I believe to be the tightest player on the table and shove on them every now and then.  However have found myself shoving earlier and earlier with marginal holdings on the bubble, only to get called with a better hand.

Don't get me wrong, I am thoroughly enjoying every moment however am struggling with this aspect of the game and was wandering if you or anyone else for that matter had any words of wisdom so I can start to beat the 3.30's?
