My 'tick list' for going full-time was something like this : - />100 buy ins bank roll (1 BI = 100BB's for cash) - 4 - 6 months living expenses saved separate to bankroll - 12 months history of profitability at or above the level required to live comfortably. - support of immediate family I've got a family to consider, so am happy to admit I was pretty conservative with these requirements. Your current situation clearly doesn't appear to meet the above in any aspect. Having said that, there are other approaches which are different to the way I looked at it. If your worst case scenario is that you go busto in two months, but still have a roof over your head, and can reasonably easily find a job, then I suppose the risk is limited. One thing I would suggest is to generate some cash (through poker or otherwise) to invest in your set up. Only being able to 4 table is a huge negative, when you want to find ways to maximise your volume / returns. Posted by jakally

Ease up with the rub downs fellas. Never nice to lose a big pot, been there, done that, got the battle scars. IMO any good player has the capacity to do something like that and crucially has the wherewithal to learn from hands like that.
Bear, you've got potential that a lot of players don't have, it's all amount harnessing that potential and learning from every speed bump.
Obviously what he did on TOTP was sheer stupidity in the way he played the hand and the fact he was playing HU when he had like 6 BI for the level.
Having said that, what he also showed was sheer balls and heart playing a hand like that with 6 BI for the level, something very few people who have posted on this thread posses.

It was definatly one of the most entertaining hand I've commentated on TOTP! And remember guys....bearly got it in as only a 40/60....after his 4 or 5 bet of like 128 if he could see the cards then its a correct jam there! Posted by scotty77
must remember when i have 89 im only 40/60 to win better still ill fold the #### and save a packet balls pure stupidy whatever u guys think or say and preflop u name me one pro who would do this play and the fact he could not see the cards its a fold scotty the look on your face when u comentated on it live said it all really as they say a picture says a thousand words in this case it was poor play understand the 128 bet but when reraised its an easy fold
hi yeah chille it is obviously a fold when you can't see the cards I was just saying that when the money went in and the cards were turned over he would have been very very relieved to see the kind of situation he was in!

I would suspect this guy has a bigger poker roll, which for w/e reason he chooses not to disclose and this fred is just one big level !
But this could just be my tendancy not to believe any poker player!
i think he had stepped up the levels far too quick which hasnt worked out great in this case.
