    hi Josh,
    chin up m8 early days.
dym,s are a strange old game to play.
the only thing i would say though is the more games you play
the more edge you will have.playing just 1 or 2 games really is 50/50,
get multi-tableing asap i,m sure it will help.
    best wishes,
    :-)
    dev

    ps,
with your b/roll only being £17 i know that this would be dangerous 4 you.
so i don,t know if you would be better off playing 2x60p rather than 1x£1.15
    not sure...maybe not.

Thanks Dev, I'm still sure I'll be able to turn it around seeing as it's only just under 20%. Plus it's only a little project to see what I can do without having to deposit any money, at no point have I thought I'll be able to go on without having to put anything in. In fact I'm happy making the money last as long as possible and learn from it :)

I'll have a go at multi-tabling at the weekend and certainly after all my exams are over. The last one is on the 30th of May so as you can guess, after then it's going to be poker, POKER, POKERR!! Ahahh

    hi again Josh,
    liking your attitude m8.
no reason why you will have to deposit any more money.
just keep on doing the right things and you,ll be fine.
best of luck with your exams too.
    :-)

    Welcome & GL with this!!!!

Carry on playing the freerolls on here... If you know what you're doing they can be a beut way of adding an extra ten or twenny squid to your roll which is great for your challenge..

Nice spreadsheet work!! It seems your accounting is better than that of yr footie team ;o)

    xx

Thanks :) Going to give me a big boost in this 'project' and was quite an experience for my first main event. Not sure I'll be entering many more though unless my bank roll takes another magic turn, pretty certain I would be kicking myself if I bought my way in as I'd just end up sitting too tight and drifting away ahahh. Good luck in any others you enter though!

Isnt that a lovely boost when youre playing with less than £20 bankroll, really chuffed for you Josh, you now have that cushion you were in need of, whether the win was through run good or good play it sets you up now for a proper crack at this, instead of losing almost 10% of your roll a day if you played one DYM and got unlucky.
Best of luck and I wish you well.

Excellent result last night, more than trebling your bankroll in one game must feel great. Very well played Josh.

Decided to end the day of poker early as I was only going downhill seeing as I have an English Language exam tomorrow, have been trying to revise for that and play at the same time... was obviously going to end badly ahahh.

Anyway, I have an exam tomorrow and then ones next Thursday and Friday for my final one to be on the following Wednesday, the 30th. Seeing as I've barely revised for them I'm going to tone down the poker for a week or so to make sure I minimize losses and more importantly get good grades!

    £74.11 £2.70 BROUGHT IN N/A
    £73.06 -£1.05 Cash N/A
    £71.14 -£1.92 Cash N/A
    £70.85 -£0.29 Cash N/A
    £69.70 -£1.15 Sit & Go DYM
    TOTAL = £69.70
    DAY CHANGE = -£3.36
    TOTAL CHANGE = £49.04
    TOTAL CHANGE % = 237.37%

I'll probably find myself sneaking in the odd hand but I think I'm going to try and keep away from the cash tables as they need a longer period of time to play so that you can remain patient in waiting for the right times to play (note how I didn't say good hands ahahh)

Josh I don't want to sound like an old fuddy duddy but as somebody who at your age decided that revision wasn't that important can I just say to you that this next week is really important to you and for the sake of a week playing poker believe me when I say your exams are far more important.
Spend the next week revising and doing your best to get the results your obvious intelligence merits and then spend the summer enjoying your poker rather than regretting not revising and having to worry about the future.
A week off poker is a small price to pay for the career and future of your choice.
     Good luck in those exams.
