Rightio folks, tonight’s a live night on 865 and the lineup looks like this!


*         Richard Orford and Redmond Lee will be live on air from 7pm


*         8pm- Ask the Expert- get all those poker questions and hands to be analysed to resident pro Redmond Lee

 

*         9pm- Sky Poker School- Tonight’s theme: “Shove/committing your stack in Cash”

*         10pm- Chat Box- all the latest poker news from around the globe


*         11pm- Master Cash- live action from Sky Poker.com’s virtual cash tables.


And competition time:

In a nod to the Sky Poker Spotify mixtape- I’m asking...


What songs would make it on to a poker jukebox?


But here’s the rub, this is not simply a request for your favourites tunes to listen to whilst playing poker. We’re talking puns on song titles and artists/bands.

e.g. “You raise me up” by Westlife

“Where do broken heart flushes go?” by Whitney Houston

“Welcome to the full House of Fun” by Madness or, also by Madness …

“Our Full House…in the middle of 4th street”

Etc etc.

You get the idea.


The best one tonight will win a free seat into next Tuesday’s 5K Open main event.


And they’ll also be TWO seats available for Thursday night's SPT Blackpool Semi for the best message contribution tonight to do with poker...whether a question, some interesting thoughts or a really good hand etc.


So get firing away below please and I’ll see you at 7!

    Are you sure you have the right date for the Super Roller Rich, there is only one on the 3rd June that I can see in the lobby. Wish I hadn't volunteered to baby sit for my sister that night:(

    This definitely has to be the winner.

    I won't be watching tonight as i'm gigging with my band Wild Front Tears.

    A question for Reds - i often search for you on the lobby because i find that watching your play is pretty interesting. However, lately i noticed you seem to be sitting at around 10/11 tables alone for hours on end! Are you starting to regret becoming really well known for your skills around here? :P

    I'm sure it will be a great show as always and i hope i can catch it on the repeat.

    PS, Rich i don't know if it's an old or a new thing but i really enjoyed your little chat with Tikay around that little park that aired yesterday.

    I'm really looking forward to Blackpool, not sure if I'll be playing the ME yet, only tried a £5 sat once and bubbled for £19. Definitely gonna be qualification only for me this time, not buying in direct for £220!

    Hopefully I can get a seat though, would be interesting to play 1 which A) has a much better structure and B) has the added twist of bounties. Have to be some side events for me if I don't manage to qualify.

    Has it been decided yet as to what the bounties will be, I know they will be a fixed amount rather than 75% and 25% on your head (cos that would be impossible live), but how much will it be? I've heard rumours of it being £50 which seems about right, but will definitely change the dynamic alot depending on what Sky decide.

    Have a good one, dunno if I'm gonna get to see the whole show but I'll definitely drop in.

    If you're not watching live mate, I hope you're recording the show at least! I'll put your question to Reds and thanks for the comments re the documentary with Tikay. Everyone seemed to like that, and we were just talking in the office of possibly revisiting it for a sequel of sorts!
