great topic tonight ive had a conversation with a friend over past week about this subject kinda. my question is to redmond great cash player as he is does he think losing a buyin by commiting chips to a hand (2 pair against say a set?)is bad. reason i ask i lost 2 massive hands in past week to that situation. i felt i could have got away from the hands for alot less if i was doing the betting into the player. did i lose my cash by p[laying bad by commiting too much to the hand. how strong a hand does redmond think you should have to commit?
the hand was my ak v aa flop came ak4 and i got very aggresive or should i have played it slower and maybe won less but in reverse wouldnt have lost as much.
just so rich doesnt feel left out by redmond getting asked all the questions
how far from my mouth should i hold a mic so it doesnt scretch lol
in talk of slowrolls live, i remember i was at the casino one day, i had 2nd nut staight after opponent limped AK on my BB i had K9o and checked flop came down TJQr i bet he called turn was 2 no change, river 5 still no change. I rekoned he had a two pair type hand from previous pots with this opponent so i shoved. He took 5 minutes of riffiling his chips, before i called the clock on him, Pit boss counted the whole clock down to two seconds before he said call with the nut straight.
Nothing i can say, im cool losing in that spot, but seriously 6 minutes, seriously struggled to hide my anger.
If you could look at this hand that would be cool. When of the few times where ive put my opponent on a hand and been right. I still felt bad for him, but i think it is the danger of letting the blinds see a cheap flop and then slow playing the nuts. Could i have extracted more value from this hand?

Quick update on my position in tonights main, currently 20th out of 111 with around 9k. Looking to keep it going! Had a few good hands but nothing really interesting, may be some to come though!
