I have been asked by a few members to create somewhere we can 'VENT' whether it be about poker hands, general tournament queries/discussions or just a team catchup..

    Simon asked me to post up a brief explanation of how the Team League is scored......

    ......I Can't ....because i make it up as i go along...lol [Well thats what Maxally says]..Kiddin SRY!!

    I hope this helps....


    HI Mate!! I'll try not to confuse maself or you,

    Table 1,
    The Top Ten Individual Finishers score points for their team as per first table, so TPT, 51, THS, TNP, all score points, The rest have NOT SCORED TEAM POINTS, However are place in position on the second table by their highest finsher, thus giving us a full order!!

    Table 2,
    The Team Points are totalled to form the second table as shown, in this case the Four points scorers, followed by the non points scorers in order!! They are awarded League Points 7 for first, down to 0 for last, thus Diamond get 3 'League' points!! Being 5th on this list!

    Table 3,
     This League table is cumulated week by week, thus a team 'COULD' achieve No Team points, but if they have a strong finisher, say 11th 15th & 17th etc, they STILL MAY achieve many Legue Points!!

    It may seem confusing, but is simple really, think the Team & League Points maybe confusing them....or is it me?? LOL!!

    This seemed the fairest way to enable a team of 1/2 to compete with a team of 8/9 or 20/25 and potentially stay in with a shout!!

    If ever points / goal diff is equal the position is awarded to the Taem with fewest runners, which has cost us[THS] a couple of times but is the Fairest way we felt when we set the rules!!

    Comprende?? LOL!!

Well done to all that contributed to playing in DTD this month, good achievement considering we only have a few ppl enter, sometimes max 5 compared to some of the other teams who have lot more players every week !!
