Enjoying the updateds - Looking good again already today WD to yesterdays players as well Does anyone know how Tommy D got from 19k to 40k yesterday - Was he all in or a gradual build up? Posted by MP33
Just played his stack up, small pot poker, he can outplay most down the streets, just needed to avoid a big accident. It's "big on big" where it all goes right - or wrong.

A few chip counts, 90 minutes into Level 2. (All approx, will get accurate counts @ next break in 30 minutes).
Ryan 20,000
Beaneh 40,000
James Foley 28,000
Thewy 44,000.
Still not been able to find LolRaise, but strewth, there are a LOT of players out there.
Thewy has a kid to his left who keeps 3 betting him. You may not be aware, but Thewy has a sort of "enough with that" thing, where he plays back at them strongly if they keep getting out of line. Well, he had enough of Mr 3-Bet, & in the lot went. Mr 3Bet became Mr Foldy-Woldy, & has been behaving since.
How many runners today? Did Dylan not manage to sat in then? I hope we get everybody through today...it would be boosting yoth! Posted by MAXALLY
Dylan, despite our efforts to persuade him otherwise, never played any further Main Event Sats. He's happy though, railing the guys, & being most helpful to me with chip counts, lattes & sticky buns.
Today's field size will not be (officially) known until 7pm Vegas (3am UK), & Registration remains open until 5pm Vegas (1am UK).
I have heard rumours of 3,000 to 3,500 players today, but they are just rumours. Deffo a sizeable field though.

He won another pot just after that, 50,000 now.
They are all in the Media Centre with me now, swapping tales of derring do.
Tikay Rupinder (George) Bedi just tweeted that at 2nd break he is on 34K #WSOPME Posted by Woogie8688
Excellent.
Spooky, too, as I just this minute bumped into Jared Tendlar, who, with Barry Carter, co-authored "The Mental Game of Poker".
It was Jared, & his book, that changed George from a "moany-woany poker is not fair, I'm so unlucky all the time" guy (he even had his own "Whinge Thread" elsewhere) into the great player he is now.
In fact, his game has not changed one bit, he has just learned to control "tilt", not blame others for his poker misfortunes, & have a positive outlook on life & poker.
Love him to bits, & part of his great popularity is that he addressed his "problem" & solved it. Takes a proper bloke to look at yourself, realise you have got it wrong, & sort it.

Juan up, one down.
I'm afraid that George (Rupinder Bedi) is out.
Flopped a set of Tens on a Q-10-9 flop.
Young Juan Maceris had the Aces, & could not let go, in they go.
Perfect-perfect Broadway followed.
George seems remarkably sanguine about it.
