A shame to see Thewy and Ryan go out, but very well played and best of luck for day 2 to the others.

Thanks very much to Tikay and Dylan for all the updates. I can't post on the forum with my iPhone, but I enjoy using it to read the posts here and everything on Twitter while I'm working through the early hours.

Well done to all those who made it through to day 2, and commiserations to those that didn't.

So 666 runners get paid, probably someone by the name of Damien is going to win it then:)

Am I right in saying that the bubble actually gets entry into next years competition?

Late news. James Foley ended the day with 31,850, almost his high point of the day. Quality grinding that.

Well done Foleyboy, into day two.  Quality grinding indeed.

All the best to Abbey, hope she is feeling better.

... and abbey, remember that you have pocket money rights and there is an implied link to your dad's increasing fortunes.  imo delay all illnesses until next week then go for it big time.

Read this hand history.  http://www.pokernews.com/live-reporting/2012-world-series-of-poker/event-61-no-limit-hold-em-main-event/chips.37490.htm Some people just cannot fold ;)

He had an open-ended back door straight draw - standarddd... ;-)

Is Mordue allowed to show one card? What if he had shown both? I thought showing was not allowed?

Sick progress and bloggage so far SPT & Tikay, keep it going! :-)
