    Great updates just caught up, take it you didnt manage to find reds after all?

    thanks for the great work tikay, tatty shots your best work id say.

    I assume Marc Wright is 'railtard11' and i read earlier in this thread he is a very very good player, well .......... that was utterly validated by me checking the results page on a site, he finished 73rd out of a battle of hastings size starting field (yaknow 1066) wow great work

    Tough act to follow for todays 4 but hope we can have a clean sweep into day 2 :)

    Great updates tikay (and everyone else who added their snippits of info too). If anyone is reading this I reckon another quick post from each of us will give tikay a little boost to keep his updating as good as it has been. An update thread without much feedback can be quite draining. So, I'm reading and appreciate the updates, thanks tikay.

    Good morning all.

    Just to confirm....

    Marc Wright ended the day with 89,150, & Redmond finished with 33,000. Excellent!

    Thanks for Posting those numbers overnight. It's quite awkward for me to keep up with everything here, more so today & tomorrow with Sky Poker being multi-handed in the WSOP Main Event, so your continued help with the updates is really welcome & appreciated. We iz a team, innit.
     
    We may as well keep this thread going, but I'll start a Day 1b Blog a little later, once I have some fresh material.
     
    It is 10.30am here in Vegas, I'll be doing a phone-in to the Show at 11am Vegas (7pm UK), & play commences @ Noon Vegas (8pm UK).

    Fingers crossed for a good day.

    Just caught up reading this blog and looking at all the photo updates, really appreciate all the long hours and tatty snaps and other photo's.Well cashed Tommy and Thewy at Binions(is it rude to ask what the chop up paid?). Good luck to all the sky team out there, who are yet to play their day ones and well played to Marc and Reds for making next day.Cheers Dave.

    finished day with 89,150

    played ok today i think. Put the guys to my right in impossible spots and got them to do stupid stuff. I think i was 3betting vs real good stacks and picking up light opens pretty good.

    I played 3 significant pots today. (nt gona go into great detail as im pretty tired, but ur get the idea)

    77 wasnt good on 76482 against 88. He checks back river too.

    Then at my 3rd table of the day, playing about 50k at 200/400 w/50ante, utg opens to 800 playing 30k. I 3bet the button with   . He peels. Comes like    . He thinks for a minute or so and checks. I bet pretty small to induce something as its pretty hard for him to have a legitimate value hand that he can c/r (he is 4betting AK AA vs me 100% with how i was playing). 
    Anyways, he check/raised after a few seconds thought. I was gona 3bet the flop but he can just jam flush draws and obv i have queen high. So i call. Turn was the   (BOOM made a pair). He barrells turn and i call/ River pairs the 3. So now he kinda has 77, or complete air (possibly missed heart flush draws). He jams river i called pretty quickly to see the no pair / draw. ty buddy.

    I lost a decent sized pot near the end when i should of folded the river. He took an insanely strong line  which made his hand 100% polarized towards bluffs or flushes. He had the latter.

    Pretty happy with 89k, but feel like i should have 120-130 but whatever.
    I wouldnt wana be out of position to myself (sorry if that sounds arrogant), and hopefully can run up a stack and make a run at this. I have made 2 day 2's this year and finished 12th and 7th in them respectively so hopefully make a run at it
