I've got a few suggestions. The first one is a fixed limit RAISE or FOLD tournament. Blind structure is similar to a normal MTT but the only decision each player has is raise or fold. After 4 raises the players go to the next street. E.G 10/20 blinds you can raise each other 4x so the max would be 80 and then we see a flop. Same betting can occur on the flop (max 80) and then on the turn betting doubles so it would go 40 80 120 160 then the river with the same betting structure. This could be done throughout the tournament and the tournament name could be BALLS or BUST as you will need to have the balls to keep hitting raise through the streets. You can make them timed tournaments MTT Bounty hunters and can change speed structure accordingly.

days when there is no £110 @ 9pm (tues, wed, sat?)
    £50 + £5 fee
    £1500 gtd
    primo structure and ss
I realise that the £110 have  been removed on dem days cos of poor fields, but maybe a £50 for at least 30 runners wd work.

My 2nd idea is to have a tournament called Playing Blind. In this tournament you get to see everybody elses hole cards but not your own and the exictement of it is based on having urges when you feel your hand is good enough. The banter side to it would be watching people betting and re raising hands like 9 high and 10 high and then deciding to get involved when you only have 7 high!!! It would also be funny to see what people are folding e.g Aces pre flop if they see someone else holding Jacks etc who may also fold if they see someone with A9. Hope its easy enough too understand and I think this could be popular.

Bring back SCOOP (sky championship of online poker)
It was quite a while ago but i think there were 3 MTTs (we can add more if wanted e.g PL omaha hi/lo and deepstack)
    1.NL Holdem freezeout
    2.PL Omaha freezeout
    3.NL Holdem Turbo freezeout

A league table was created for all the results and the top 6 played in a final of NLHE ( This could be  changed into a round of each)
The winner recieved a trophy, a place in the SPT tour final and cash.
Not sure what the buy ins were for each tourney or should be this time but i remember 1st place was £2500.

I remember this because I won it and the trophy still has pride of place on my mantlepiece.
Blatent brag i know but it was a good format .

Edit: I think there were more than 3 tourneys but can not remember how many I think there should be at least 5 if not mre to make the league more representive of results.

3rd suggestion would be a nightly Heads up Cup.

This could be set at a certain time every night and the buy In could be £5 as that would suit all bankrolls. The idea is that people either play Normal standard heads up Sit and Gos  Turbocharged or Hyper charged. (You could do Sunday normal Monday Turbocharged Tuesday Hyper charged etc). The idea is say you get 48 entrants you would do the following. 16 receive a straight bye to round 2 and the other 16 play their matches then you play down to a winner through 32, 16, 8, 4, 2 to a winner. A guarntee would be good to get it going but say there were 48 entrants the prizes could be awarded as follows.

    £290 to be distributed

    Losing quarter finalist £20
    Losing Semi Finalist £30
    Losing finalist £50
    Winner £100

This could be tweaked by offering a £1 bounty for a knock out in a match so theoretically half of the field would go away with a prize.

Other ways of making this exciting could be by having a roll of honour board if it was a flagship tournament. 3 wins in the year and you get entry to the Sky Sports Bounty Hunter 5 wins and you win a free Primo seat and the person who wins this for the most nights in the year wins a seat to an SPT event. This could get a bunch of players who would enter this tournament night after night for the fun of the cup and the chance to win prizes throughout the year.

How about a proper orfordable deepstack--- 3.30 buy in---- the prize fund gets doubled by deducting it from Orfords wages.

In Response to Re: Design your own tournament - with prizes:
Here’s a few ideas for MTT’s... 1)   Night Owl League £5 (+50p)    6min blinds It runs every night at midnight, 50% of the money goes into the nightly prize pool and 50% goes into weekly prize pool. Only first place is paid but the top 10 receive Night Owl league points (10 th =1pt... 1 st =10pts). The League week runs from Saturday to Friday, at which point whoever has the most points wins the weekly prize pool (joint 1 st splits the prize)   2) Multi-Table Madness £2.50 (+50p) x4=   £10 (+£2)     8min Blinds 8.30pm Wednesday It consists of 4 identical simultaneous tournaments, normal payout structure but the prize pool is paid out based on the total position from all four tournaments.   3) Easy Money £1 Quarter-final (6min blinds) (Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs) £5 Semi-final (8 min blinds) (Fri, Sat) £25 Final (10 min blinds) (Sun) It runs every night at 7.30pm, 1 in 5 on Mon & Tues get entered into the Semi on Fri, and 1 in 5 on Weds & Thurs get entered into the Semi on Sat. 1 in 5 on Fri & Sat get entered into the Final on Sun 1 in 5 on Sundays final get £100 (sky keep £25 for each place paid to make up for the lack of rake during the week) So the micro stakes players get 4 days to turn £1 into £100, mid range players can still join in on Fri or Sat and turn £5 to £100. Additionally, because the rake gets paid in the final, there’s less incentive for sharks looking for value. Which all adds up to a pretty soft tournament, hence the name... Easy Money.

I haven’t had the chance to read all the posts, so apologies if this or similar has been suggested.

Call it - THE ENDURANCE – Triple chance mtt.

We all like big prize pools and I think this would be a good format to accumulate a large one..

Standard 6max NLH. £33 buy in. 3 start days play down to a certain level (but aiming to have about 35% of the field survive to day 2). Relatively quick format, standard blind levels & 2k stack.
People take the remaining stack through to final day when play stops, make the last level of play 20mins.
This creates a lot of action in the last levels with people needing to dump short stacks or double up. It is also an exciting / appealing concept making a day 2.

The crux of the tournament is that  you may re-enter on one of the other start days to make it to day 2. Bolstering the prize pool further. £20k GPP would be acheivable, you’d need just over 200 runners per day 1 to achieve this.

Ideally 30% of each day's field would progress, so the structure could be manipulated to accomodate this?

    The tournament
    Thursday- Day 1a – 8pm
    Friday- Day 1b – 8pm
    Saturday- Day 1c – 8pm Sunday-
    Day 2 – 8pm
    FINAL DAY, play to winner.

    Thanks

Just off the top of my head, what about an Omahtex, a combination of Omaha and texas hold-em except each player is dealt 3 pocket cards but must use all 3 in his/her final hand. Could be interesting.

OMAHOLDEM You are dealt 3 cards, you must use 2 from your hand and discard one after the flop, you play the turn and river with the two cards you kept. At Showdown like Omaha, you must use 2 from your hand! Get working on the software Sky!! Dave

I always liked the idea of the Survivor but it seems to have gone downhill, probably because you have to commit to it every night of the week if you get that far

How about "The weekly Survivor" where its played one specific night a week for x amount of weeks

    MP

EDIT - + any fixed limit tounaments

    1) Price is right
The idea is that, any person can buy-in to the tournament for the fee he so wishes (ranging from £1-£30 or more?) obviously a charge of 10% in rake. The thing is, the amount bought in for is exchanged for an equivalent amount in tournament chips, rebuys are allowed. Standard blind structures, of course those buying in for higher amounts get a more 'deeper' tournament.
Maybe a twist on this can be dedicated time periods where players can cash out there equivalent in chips.

    2) All in fest
A Turbo style tournament with 5 minute blinds, where players are only allowed to go all-in or fold.

    3) Super deepy
With 20 minute blinds and ~£10 entry fee with satelittes available through the day. This could be ran as a 2 day thing or a 1 day thing with a start time of 7pm. This would give entrants alot of room to play poker.

Two day event sounds sick. Doesn't have to be so expensive though, a £100+10 would suffice.

    Double Do-Lally

In this tournament its basically a MTT double your money shoot out. For example 96 players could pay £5 and play in a series of 6 handed double your moneys. 48, 24, 12, 6, 3. The rewards of this are simple. If a person can win 5 in a row then they could win a hefty pay out. (£160) each where as by playing them individually they would only make £25 in profit. This could be popular as there are many double your money players and you can vary the format each night into hypercharged turbocharged or normal blind levels. You could also adjust the prize money so based on a 96 player tournament you could do the cash as

    4th-6th £40
1st-3rd (all winners) £120 this would make the final game still appealing to win but also a bit of insurance if a player falls at the final fence.

Furthermore, the final 6 could be guarnteed money something like the following and they could play down to a winner just like a 6 max SNG.

    6th £30
    5th £40
    4th £60
    3rd £80
    2nd £110
    1st £160.

This again is something that I think could catch on and like most of my other ideas today would be a unique tournament for sky so it could easily bring in new punters who are attracted by a new main tournament.

In Response to Re: Design your own tournament - with prizes:
A two day event. Buy in £275 (£250+25) Starting stack 10k blinds 30 mins. DAY 1: Starts at 7 in the evening and runs until level 15 (2:30) (This can be earlier e.g. level 13 which is 1 o'clock) DAY 2: Starts at 7 and runs until finish. It can run once a month (Preferably the end of the month where alot of players are on the site getting the C4P's up) 1st day saturday - 2nd sunday! This would also make a great TV show with loads of hands which can be used as a good replay show in the week. Mayble a replay of the final table aswell throughout the week to fill the gaps in shows.  The format would be a regular MTT prizes paid to the top 10% or 15% whichever sky prefer. Sats can run all month and start at very low amount to allow all BR's the chance to get in, and enough time to grind in. This would also earn sky a fortune in rake. E.G Sats start at £2.00 +0.40p 1 in 5 get a seat to a £10+1 sat where one in 5 get a seat into a £50+5 sat where one in 5 get a seat into the tournament.(These can be run consistently as no seats are guaranteed unless it makes the runners so there could be quite a few a day) These can be run all day every day with a big semi each night aswell, probably another £55 one which you can sat into throughout the day aswell. Also there could be a few £25 + £2.75 buy in where 1st and 2nd are guaranteed seats. This would be and absolutely brilliant tournament :) Name "THE SKY SUPER DEEPSTACK" courtesy of Batkin88 lol
