In Response to Re: Competition - Win a Primo Seat:
    1) High and Mighty 2) Freeroll where starting stacks are allocated based on height. 6' = 2000 chips for every inch less the stack is halved, for every inch more the stack is doubled. 3) £500 4) This could be a replacement for the cancelled freeroll for everyone between 250 and 500 c4p. To avoid cheating only players who had their height confirmed at SPTs should be eligible. :)

It may be too simple but what about giving show night tournament tokens based on c4p earned in a month?

1 - 999 Freeroll entry to win Tournament Tokens
    1000 - 4000 Mini Token
    4001- 7776 Timed Tournament Token
    7777 - 9999 Lucky Sevens Token
    10,000+ Main event token

As the tokens will be given for Show nights and hands might be shown on TV. The promotion could be called "Play and Display"

In Response to Re: Competition - Win a Primo Seat : A lot of these ideas make a big thing about rewarding loyal players and make the assumption that 500 points each month is easily achievable by everybody. I have been playing on Sky Poker regularly for the past four years, usually at least four days a week and (if you ask my wife, too often!) probably for 20 hours +. In that time I have reached 500 points TWICE so rarely obtain entry into loyalty events etc, I have thousands of  poker points you can do very little with so selfishly I like the idea of getting a £5 bonus each time I reach 1,000 points regardless of how long it takes me. And DEL, I don't rememeber receiving a birthday bonus in the past either...it's my birthday tomorrow so if I get one, it will be a nice present!!

    Sry its me again!

On the point I made earlier about getting £5 for every 1000 poker points you achieve, regardless of time it takes.

From a personal point, I have played close to 4k games on Sky and achieve 200ish points per month.  A couple of years ago I stopped playing here for about 6mnths, as had no incentive to stay.  Even at my low stakes, that would have provided £120 aprox in rake for Sky, in those 6 months.  As they say, it all adds up and I'm surely not the only person who has felt like this, and came and gone?

Don't like to moan, but do feel its unfair, and its not so much about £5, its the principle.  Would this not be a small price to pay to hpoefully keep more players on this site, thus grow?

    Regards, Derek.

monthly loyalty freeroll qualification entry requirement = play on site at least 10 days in the month starting stack = number of hands played in the month prize structure applied to top 10% of players

I prefer this to the thing that they are calling "loyalty" freeroll. It's not about loyalty its about volume another one for those who play more.
I have played here 4 years 5500 games made 500 point twice(on the last day) guess i am not loyal enough!

    excellent idea. lets think...

    number of hands played..

enter every tourny on sky. go out first hand .. get a rubbish stack.

enter a 1-10 deepstack .. play 3000 hands and get a healthy stack.

    LOYALTY REALLY ?

so let me get this right.

i can play a 1-10 ds for 10 days and get the same stack size as someone has played 3 * 110 bh the primo and 6 * mains ...    if i have played the same ammount of hands.   bring it on

so u r saying my 10 days play costing me 11-00   is the same value or loyalty as someone spending 580-00 for 10 days play

bigal36903, i don't need to defend my suggestion, it was just one of many in a competition that was open to all.  did you offer a suggestion?

if you look at your posts again.

bigal36903, "shock at the winning suggestion. how does volume say anything about loyalty... who was it again ??"

then bigal36903, "excellent idea. lets think...number of hands played.. enter every tourny on sky. go out first hand .. get a rubbish stack.   enter a 1-10 deepstack .. play 3000 hands and get a healthy stack.   LOYALTY REALLY ?"

10 minutes later, bigal36903, "so let me get this right. i can play a 1-10 ds for 10 days and get the same stack size as someone has played 3 * 110 bh the primo and 6 * mains ...    if i have played the same ammount of hands.   bring it on.  so u r saying my 10 days play costing me 11-00   is the same value or loyalty as someone spending 580-00 for 10 days play"

bigal36903, glad to see you've finally got it.

i didn't make a suggestion that was designed to favour my own play as i only play three evenings a week.  loyalty is more about regular play rather than playing only a few days each month.  i made a suggestion that includes all bankrolls and includes all styles.  it is for those who play often and acts as an incentive to play more.  playing a volume of hands is a characteristic of a loyal player to skypoker.  finally, it is simple and is easy for all to comprehend what is required.

Guys - we are closing this thread to avoid any more comments directed at aussie.

As you will know, no promotion is perfect and never suits 100% of people. Nevertheless we liked his idea and picked him as the winner.

Thank you to everyone who suggested an idea, much appreciated.

Good luck to aussie in the primo.
