Just a quick idea as i thought about this
Personally i think there a waste of time ino it was nice of sky to introduce em to boost the main mumbers and that but to the ordianry joe who playes the main n mini most night of the week there pointless
eg
£50 fr 400 runners 1st />£12.50
£200 fr 400 runners 1st />£50
For about 3 hours play just aint worth the effort and most players who play day in day out aint gunna bother with these at all
What i suggest:
Instead of a daily mini and main freeroll junk them
A weekly freeroll eg
Players who cash in either the main or the mini from mon/sat get entry to
£1500 freeroll on the sunday
So my guess there would be between 400/500 runners with 1st offering around £300
This would be a much better idea and its worth the time to play , can keep the same freeroll structure n that
Thoughts and input be good

I've Cashed in 2 from 3 Can't say NO to FREE Money imo
I didnt say i didnt like em i just said there pointless and not worth the time of day to players who play the main and mini day in day out as a weekly tourny would be a better option
Im just making a point everyone is always sat out and i wouldnt class playing 2 hours for a 40p min cash as worfit! hence why i do sit out
I was just stating my opinion on what i thought would be a better idea and as DONK pointed out bigger prizepool and something worth playing for
O and btw i "came 2nd in main tonight £30!!" brag post never , to go through 409 runners and 10th paying £2 exactly my point , not having a rant but wanted inputs not sarcy comments on FREE CASH eg
I only suggested that maybe having a weekly version with more money on offer than several small ones might sound more appealing
I agree with CRAZY on the payout structure for freerools no1 wants to play all that time for pence in return free or not still wanna make it worth the time
Yea i was i nthe same place as you kiwini raise raise as wer only player on my table
To be honest i think at least half the field was away the whole tourney was good for me yea but bored the pants off me!
think of it more as an incentive rather than a reward. a small incentive to encourage people to play successive nights.
I won't play them unless I am bored and then I will just donk about, but I can see why it is there and hopefully it will push the ME numbers up daily.
not SKY's best ideas.
I think any bonuses are great, and these freerolls suit some people and are good fun. (i go all in every hand lol)

Personally, i like the idea of a weekly freeroll if you play 4 mains or 4 minis in one week. so instead of one £200 freeroll per day it would be 1 £1400 or £350 freeroll per week, and the number of runners will be reduced as you will have to have played 4 events to quailfy. Also a nicer prizes up top. Then i will just go all in every other hand instead
but
i would love to know how many people these freerolls encourage to the site every day because i cant see the number being high at all.
if its a reward for tournament players then do a league system with a big reward at the end of the month/week. allocate points for each cash position and then the top 10 at the end of each month play a big freeroll. this would also help to solve some of the issues regarding payments in tournaments as it would boost the value of a min cash because it could improve your league position.
there is already an excellent thread containing all tournament results and the player who updates the thread takes 10 minutes to collate results. wouldnt take a lot of effort.
i can see OP's frustration and in all honesty i will be one of those players who are sat out at the tables. although all freerolls are beneficial in theory it just seems like there are so many better ways to reward players or incentivise players
Low stakes players don't tend to play alot of MEs and as for the Minis, it is a freeroll and 'free money' but it is a £50 freeroll, and these run daily anyway without having to play the mini to get entry.
So it adds little value for low stakes players.
I thionk thyey could save this money and spend it else where.
Most of us players playing the main especially are rolled for the £11, £22, £33 and £55 buy ins, so why would we sit in a freeroll with 300 playersish to win pennys??
I may be wrong but this is just my opinion!!
Just an idea!!
Good afternoon.
The Main & Mini Freerolls are done for very good reason, which several replies have correctly identified.
