iiii- SANDOWN 4.45 - WAR HOWL 16/1 - Brian Meehan can still train a horse when he has them and likes getting them here and at Newbury. His run at NEWMARKET was a big possie as he got carried over to the far side by Realign, before running on again over 6f , SHADOW OF LIGHT won that race and only beaten by COOL HOOF LUKE in GIMCRACK next time. His next race looked like a get him handicapped nicely for a nursery. NR
iii - CHESTER 2.10 - MARCHOGIAN 8-1 - Balding in form and has lots of winners at this track. Nicely drawn and ran well for a long way before fading behind MATAURI BAY who contests a much higher class race today. 2nd at 14/1 JUST COULDNT GET OFF RAIL QUICK ENOUGH
ii CHESTER 3.50 - CAPE VATICANO 7/1 - Another Balding and a bit of a risk as she cant break slowly again, however showed good form earlier in the season on good to soft and looks to be on handy mark LOST had a difficult run again and jockey didnt seem to try to hard late on
i - CHESTER 3.15= SHANROE 16-1 - Won this last year and trainer brings him across from Ireland to retain his crown. Not been in same form this year but if he goes on this course lie he did last year is too big a price. LAST and lost
