I've just been looking at Wikipedia. Says here Richard Orford presented the Disney Club from 1989 to 1994. Did you really Richard? I used to love that show. Don't remember you though. I was mainly interested in the cartoons. Although I do remember thta man that sometimes presents the rugby and does the Everest adverts, and a very attractive woman whose name escapes me...
Talking of timed tornaments especially the 30 mins ones they play more like a satelitte where it is very nice to double/treble up early, i have to say that you can't really sit on a large stack due to the blinds.
You still have to pick your spots ie cards or position to make sure you maintain the level of profit you have achieved.
The comb with a razor that cut your hair The shaver that was so good he bought the company getting busy with the fizzy that was sodastream put the freshness back with a shake and Vac and the chopomatic vegetable dicer
they don't make adverts like they used to!
Surely these are iconic inventions that changed the world? well at least for five minutes in the commercial break! I bet both of you remember at least one of the above. Keep up the good work, great show as usual!
Just had an idea for new worst gadget Ive bought (as far as Im concerned anyway)...not sure if itll get a mention or not....vibrating eggs (or any other cylindrical object).....I bought one of these for my new beau and err....Ive not been getting as much it would appear I have been replaced
Otherwise How can you tell the exact time the whole process has taken, obviously it will change due to the volume of water & the heat that is applied!!
Combining the subject of Gadgets & boiling eggs, before the egg is dropped into boiling water you pr ick a small hole in the end of the egg using a gadget that has an egg shaped seat for the egg & a pin that comes through, like a finger blood taking device!! (Thus allowing the air out & stops the eggs from cracking.)
Boiling your eggs from cold is best! So long as you use the same pan, you can work out bespoke timings to suit your personal taste.
If you do have to slum it! and donk your egg in already boiled water, add a pinch of salt and a cap of vinegar. i don't know why, but it stops the egg from cracking and the albumen becoming rubbery.
Must be eggsaperating reading out all these culinary tips!
Can Tikay now tell us the difference between Welsh rarebit and cheese on toast?
Funny you should mention Betty's as just been there for coffee and cake. First time in years. Living in the town, you tend to overlook it as it's full of tourists. Very highly recommended Rich. And no boiled eggs anywhere.

"How did you get to work?"
Richard, didn't you once go home in a taxi with Ed Giddins, only to remember that your car was parked outside the studio?
