Bearlyther, there used to be a £110 roller every night of the week, so it did happen, and obviously there wasn't enough interest because they all got dropped. The thing about doing a big roller every now and then is it's a special occasion for the lower stakes players and they're all happy to try satelliting in for a big payday as a one-off, but if these happened every week, I'm pretty sure the number of satellite entrants would be nothing like it was for the 20k roller, so you get left msotly with people who can BI direct and there just aint that many.

Yes i agree the lower stakes players would not be able to buy in direct to these tournaments every week and some players take a shot at them which is fine.  Its all about attracting players to the site for these games.  For a start sky could trial these games out with no guarantee therefore would be no risk for them and i believe numbers would definately increase through time.

In Response to Re: More high stakes mtts : I like the current progression with things like the £55 game tonight.  You can't go overboard, the majority of the SkyPoker MTT playerbase are recreational players playing with disposable income and do not play more than two or three tables at a time.  (This is my opinion, I have to inside knowledge on this). I'd like to see the old £22 Monday night deepstack come back but I'd move it to another day of the week to avoid a clash with the DTD. The old £220 Sunday Roller was run on a weekly basis and made it's guarantee even through the Summer (although there were plenty of winner takes a seat sats which did not always fill so I don't know if SkyPoker ended up taking a loss because of these).  If it was around sustainable weekly I can definitely see it being sustainable quarterly, provided a good sat structure was in place. However another thing to remember is everyone in the world is skint at the moment, and most players are playing off of disposable income.  I like the idea of the £110 monthly roller, with some structure tweaks I think it could be a lovely runner.
