my first gizmo was a ball point pen. i thought great this no more blobs of ink on my school work. no such luck the teacher banned them. blob blob. tk will remember ask him.
The trilogy continues, with... Episode II: Attack of the Kendall Yes, Sky Poker is live again at 7pm on 861, and at 10pm on Sky Sports 4 / HD4. tikay and I will start the show with live coverage of a £600 Gtd Timed Tournament . At 8pm, it's the Poker Clinic , so please send in your Hand IDs. And, at 9pm, we'll spend sixty minutes reviewing play from the Master Cash tables. This week's Top of the Pots countdown kicks off at 10pm. Then, at 11pm, expect highlights from the £12k Sky Sports Bounty Hunter . Have to say, I'm pretty excited about the release of a certain smartphone this Friday. I placed my order within hours of last week's announcement :-) So, let's talk technology... Which gadget has transformed your life? Alternatively, have you ever invested in a gizmo which became obsolete in less than a year?* (* I bought TWO MiniDisc players. Can you beat that?!? If so, you might win free entry to next Tuesday's £6k Open!) E-mail: skyopen@bskyb.com Twitter: #SkyPokerTV Posted by J-Hartigan
Nice to see the elder statesmen of the channel together again:
What do I miss (well it's still around) because Sue has banned it in our house:
As well as lots of pyrex dishes we got a few pieces of Tupperware as wedding presents back in the day, and not too many weeks later I arrived home with our flat smelling of acrid smoke. Now some of you will know on most Tupperware it states "heat resistant" well Sue thought that meant you could cook things in it............. It took me hours to cut off the white plastic stalactite hanging from the oven trays.
gadget that has change my life is the tv remote control, i now have complete control of the veiwing because the men are too lazy to get up, and i hide it.
The other gadget which is obsolete is my buttonere. you cannot het the replacement plastic inserts to attach the buttons back on.
Am glad to see that Tikay is alive & kicking, having sent him a couple of e-mails recently with regard to the Afternoon League £2.20 @ 2:20, which I am glad to say is getting great support from the community. ( I thought Tikay got on with Technology) ;-)
The piece of indispensible piece of technology, I have to agree with Karlluke, I couldn't live without would have to be the remote control , there is something quite satisfying sitting watching tv surrounnded by an array of remote controls.
The most ridiculous gadget would have to be a Salad spinner!! enough said.
The gadget that changed my life is an obvious one, but not for the obvious reason. My Mobile phone is the best thing that has ever happened, in the histry of happening. I hate wearing a wrist watch, since the mobile has come out I dont have to wear one now. BRILLIANT Posted by JockBMW
What did you do before? As sundials are a waste of time up here! ;-(
Best gadget has to be my most recent purchase... I won't mention brands but it's an electric cigarette, it costs about half as much as real cigarettes, it's a million times healthier, and you can smoke indoors. I havent smoked a real cigarette since I got it (nearly 2 weeks ago) and haven't had a single craving
What could be better than something that saves your life.
The greatest gadget ever has to be an alarm clock that switches off when you throw it at the wall, Setting your alarm at 5 oclock in the morning to go to work must be the worst feeling ever and then hearing your alarm clock knowing you have to get up and go and do a 12 hour shift is so stressfull, but by throwing your alarm clock(that is made to be thrown at the wall) this can release some of the stress from my day, sometimes once it has switched off, i get up pick it up again and throw it at the wall...multiple times.
Have a great show guys Also James i know you like films etc and i love watching comedy's, so which is your favourate comedy film? and comedy programme?
About 1985/6 i was living in Amsterdam and i bought a zx sinclare computer,i opened the box had a look at it,saw the instruction book, then gave it away, mistake, anyone with basic skills could make a lot of money for years to come.so it was a gadget that could have changed my life. Only learned to work a computer 4 years ago

Paul
EDIT _ Was playing the main and doin ok - 2 bat beats in a row - and ive gone - What yer gonna do
Sorry guys and no wonder u seem perplexed about me sending in this hand...your wonderful producer has not sent in my full mail to you in the studio which asked about how to get value from the hand if there were different scenarios eg there was one rairer post flop or got checked around to me post flop. Unfortunately he did not provide u with the info or q's, i asked...SACK HIM!!!!
PS i'm a Blue 100% and didn't know Livepool were even playing. Wasn't the Everton crowd magnificent on monday showing their showing their respect to the 96. It hit the city very hard Red and Blue alike. Let us hope the people grieving and angrystill can now find some peace.
PPS i even had a limerick that didn't reach u the other night with Anna
Sorry to Hijack the show thread but I owe Tikay my humblest apologies, its me that hasn't joined the 21st century yet.
If i went to the correct e-mail inbox I would have found the relevent e-mail.
DTW Bandit was a well deserved winner of the inaugral Afternoon to which people can still sign up for on the forum under GPC. However Michael missed today's event by 2 minutes & I was asked again about the deceased "Late Reg" & also the possibility of Hand for Hand on the cash/final table bubble.
