FAO MTT PLAYERS.

I think that every single MTT should have a 500/1k level and a 5k/10k level.

The jump from 400/800 to 600/1.2k is huge.

The jump from 4k/8k to 6k/12k is also huge.

I propose all MTTs on the site regardless of speed (turbo/standard/deepstack/BH/whatever) should have a 500/1k level.

Do people agree?

We have some tournaments now where we have 500xbb each to start, but then it gets very fast very quickly. the 500/1k level is a minimum requirement imo. We could lose 1/2/3 levels early, to add that single level in later on and it would make the structure alot better.

Thoughts plz...............................

Please look at pay structures, 40-11 get pretty much same in ME's then top 10 jump massive every level

Yeah i agree dohhh. Alot fo the "deep" mtts are only deep for the first few hours because of the big jumps in the later stages. Should be the other way round imo. I supoose antes would help with this problem anyway.

Totally agree with this. Far too many FT's end up as a shovefest.

Yeah add those levels, but don't remove the early level blinds!

Yeah, +1, deepstack tournaments should defo include the 500/1000 level, the BB jump from 800 to 1200 is very harsh. No need to drop any early levels though.

yes agreed most final tables are like this and if your a short stack your out within a couple of hands or if your lucky enough to double up or get the average you still have to shove or nothing and thats all the play you get in it hardly ever a raise just 1 person shoves everyone folds until 2 premium hands colide and its in the hands of luck not skill. even if your chip leader 2 calls and your out. With blinds not so high on final table and chipstacks bigger you can play more.

I have always wondered why this level is missed out of  Mtts. Its the same at my casino too.

Totally agree with everything stated in this thread. It would be a much better game getting to the FT and being able to play poker rather than winning by default (constant flipping or as I call it "Heads or Tails")

always has been a bit daft really that you have to play well at the start and middle stages and then kinda play bingo at the end, All that hard work you do up till that point seems to be out the window by the end.

Everything needs reviewing imo, from types of mtts/payouts/blindlevels/structures/antes/removing unused mtts

I guess to remain patient is the key and it will all be ironed out in due course as i am sure Sky Poker is aware of this.

+1 to the OP tho obv

Agreed - these are also the levels which are easiest to work out stacks to Big Blinds ratios!

    Thanx for posting all.

Inevitably tournaments get shallower towards the end.

But losing 20/40 when the average stack is 80-100xbbs to add 500/1k when the average stack is 12-18xbb would benefit every single tournament without making it any longer.

Was hoping for more replies from more of the regular tourny crushers. Maybe they're happy with the way things are, or maybe they haven't seen the thread yet.

Will leave it up for a few days before asking for it to be sent 'upstairs'. If you've seen it, and agree, (or disagree) plz post :)

    ty.
