BIG SHOW tonight!

Britain's top poker ambassador and all-round motormouth Neil Channing is in the house!




It's never a dull show when he's on it and charged with the task of trying to get a word in edgeways will be myself, Richard Orford and Tony 'Tikay' Kendall.







We're up at 7pm on Channel 861 LIVE for 5 hours and here's the menu:

7pm – Master Cash coverage.

8pm– Poker Clinic – Hand requests from the forum – Hand will be masked in this hour

9pm– Now on Sky Poker – Live tournament coverage of the 5K Roller

10pm– Top Of The Pots – Top 10 biggest cash hands of the week from the televised cash tables

11pm-– Sky Poker Highlights – 12k Bounty Hunter – Live coverage


Each hour we'll also be going through the forthcoming UKOPS schedule and answering your questions on this absolutely massive online poker festival.

Aside from your hand requests- there can be only one side topic tonight:

Yes, it's time to quiz our two grandmasters of poker. So, poker advice needed? Do you want their thoughts on various aspects of the industry or the game itself? What's on Neil's iPod at the moment? What's the chaps favourite food? If they had a fist-fight, who would win? 

Make your questions entertaining or funny and/or poker educational and hopefully we'll have so many of them that we end up getti the two of them in heated debate on at least a few occasions!

 

As an extra incentive, the best question in my opinion will win entry into a UKOPS semi satellite…..

    Master Cash 7 Hand ID This hand went raise then was 3 bet and i decided to smooth call on the button with QQ.  The original 3 better made a continuation bet on the flop and 2 of us called on a jack high flop.  The turn brought an 8 and he jammed i folded as i put him on KK or AA here as i dont think hes jamming the turn with worse after 2 opponants have called him on the flop and the jam has to get through us both.  I just didnt think he could ever ever be bluffing in this spot.573033036

    3. Is it true you un-followed Rich Orford on Twitter because he did'nt add you to his facebook? :)

    Ok, 3 hours to showtime-so please start submitting your questions to the chaps. Would be good to get them disagreeing on a few poker subjects or arguing over who the best football team is etc.

    Is Neil free this weekend at all?  I hear there is a big 6max tournament at the DTD that he may like to attend.  I know I would love to have him at my table just to listen to the ledgendary chat.

    What do the panel think about the current form of Sam Razavi?  He seems to be running very well at the moment.

    If he could go back to before he began playing poker, which poker lesson does he wish he would have learned quicker?

    Question for Tikay - evening Teeks!

    A lot of people might feel intimidated by bigger buy-in tournaments. What's the best advice you can give a player who satellites into something like the UKOPS Main Event and then has to 'play with the big boys'? Does he have any tips for dealing with the psychology of the bigger buy-in?

    Question for Richard - hola!

    Who do you predict will go well in this weekend's Sky Poker Tour events? I ask you as you're the only man in the studio to have won an SPT-badged event, I do believe...

    is it fair to say that richard is the michael owen of the sky poker squad?

    once a promising television personality, the years and injuries have taken there toll and these days he is used sparingly if at all for the big events

    the lobby now defaults to 'regular' tables.  heads up tables now have their own tab.  see the thread about technical tweaks at the top of the page for more info.

    Neil plays in his pyjamas
    Tikay has a penchant for retro Victorian Jackets
    and Richard dresses up as a Xmas Elf when he's working!

    Hi Rich TK and Neil. Sky pulsing the show as I will be at work for most of it. Was wondering if you can shed any light on whether or not there will be another UK cash game. It has been my favourite show so far. Very much looking forward to another.

    hi guys enjoying the show so far, i've only seen the show 5 or 6 times and my question had to be how does tikay put up with all the abuse he gets from his co hosts and seemingly everyone else on the forums to? he doesnt deserve it top bloke :D.

    and off topic i've just managed to satellite into what is a big tournament (for my bank roll anyway) the 9:30 2k bounty hunter :)  and also playing in the £1200 mini b/h so hoping to get a few heads tonight and who knows i might even survive the dreaded bubble.

    Tonight's Main event - Sky Sports BH, which has a very fast structure so I am prepared to play fast as well. But should I have seen this coming?
