This is a joke now! They should cancel it altogether. The early starters have been out and played the first few hols 3 times now and the later tee times (I.E my bet Dustin Johnsn) hasn't hit a ball yet I don't think! It's now going to be a 36 hole comp, how is that fair?

(May withdraw this statement if he goes on to win anyway...)

Don't want to count my chickens yet... BUT.... :)  After round 1 it couldn't of been better Mark Wilson tied with Dustin Johnson at the top! Wilson didn't have a good 2nd round though and will need a very good round to get back in there for an e/w shout now.

Regarding the fantasy R2D, the site says it will be up ready for Abu Dhabi next week, so keep your eyes peeled.

Looking v good for you so far Charles. Long term nice start for the Top Earner prize, short term I'm now kicking myself for not joining you in backing him this week. Gl

Keeping the bets small again this week, don't want to get carried away.

    European Tour

    Nico Colsaerts - 18/1 - £2
    Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano - 28/1 £2

    PGA Tour

Dustin Johnson (Again) 9/1 - £3 -Don't think I've ever backed someone to do a double before, but he looked so comfortable compared to anyone else I think we has a great chance.

    Charles Howell - 22/1 - £2

All are win only as I didn't see much value in the long odds players, and also did £1 doubles.

    Sony Open

Tight tree-lined course this week, with small greens. So I've plugged driving accuracy and GIR, along with previous results at this course, into the predictor. The player who came out on top was.....

    John Senden 2pts e/w  @ 50/1

    Volvo Champions

Very short, tree-lined course. I've input Driving accuracy and GIR into the predictor, and no surprise who came out on top....

    Francesco Molinari 2pts e/w  @ 14/1

    Double 1pt e/w @ 764/1

The fantasy race 2 dubai comp is now up on the site, first event is next weeks, so probably best to wait until then before picking players just to make sure they are actually in the field! Good luck all, could be some good banter.

Kept my powder dry this week til now. Ousthuisen now backable @ 6/1 (bigger than the price he was before event started). Only Jamieson in front of him, and very possible he might freeze tomorrow, and Ousthuisen defo better coming from behind himself anyway.

Good work Neil! I tried to put a money list double on Dustin Johnson and Louis on Friday, but they wouldn't let me do it until the events finished so this week will lower his odds a bit :(

Cheers Charles, glad he hit the front as late as he did because Louis backside started squeaking as soon as he got in front. Gonna have a small bet on Clark tonight @ 4/1, again he is better coming from behind and the front two being rookies, they might fold too. I guess that win might cost u 5/10 points, so that's unlucky.

I'm very interested what price they put Kaymer up early doors this week. He has a superb track record at this venue, and with Woods and Mclroy taking part, we might get a decent price.

I noticed on the PGA Tour site earlier they are going to do a Fantasy PGA tour thingy as well, no idea how theirs will run as I think it's the first time they have done it, starts in February, so keep an eye out :)

The money list markets are up now.

I've gone for Oosthuizen @ 8/1 and on the PGA Tour I've split with 2 people. I've gone for Dustin Johnson @5/1 and Brandt Snedeker @28/1. I think Brandt gained a lot of experience last year in different situations both on the course and off which can only help him, and with him winning the $10m bonus last season money really is not an issue (It probably never was) so crossing that finish line on Sundays should be a lot easier for him.

Louis/Brandt came in at 260/1 and I think Louis/Dustin came in at 54/1 so I had £10 on each of those.
