If Day 1 starts around 2pm, what time does Day 2 start (should one manage to survive Day 1 !) ? And is there a briefing before tournament starts on things like chip values, table etiquette, etc for the casino virgins? Posted by Nadz007
In Response to Re: Sky Poker Tour London: 23-24 March 2013 : At aspers Stratford you do not need to be member and no need to register, just turn up play, hAve a drink and enjoy yourself mate. Posted by macapaca

Yes, we can do a short session on etiquette, live poker betting etc etc
Just wondering is there a cap on the number of runners? Know a couple of people who are thinking of buying in next week, and thinking this might be too late if numbers are capped
Online buy in likely to be open to Thursday, which is the way to guarantee your seat
Buy in on the day if you have to, but you might go on alternates list if all tables are full (ie they will staff it with an estimate of numbers once the online buy in closes)
Not formally, but apparently there is a poker rate with the Holiday Inn Stratford Please try that when you ring up and let me know Casino is doing a WPT and the Party Premier League at the moment, answers are scarce! Posted by SPT
I rang the holiday inn, asked for reduced rate for SPT players- they say they need a code/ref no to book at a reduced rate - any ideas on this?
I would advise that there are many b and b's within a few miles that are cheaper anyway...search all the hotel sites
Meanwhile the Friday night Fast Track Poker event. Registration via their website is down. I am advised that if you wish to play, its first come first served from 7pm on the night. Alternates too if it sells out
I thought I would just pop in to the thread with some local info. There is mention in the player briefing thread about the Friday night tournament at Aspers. It's a nice little tourny, which I would highly recomend at other times but if you are wanting to be rested for Saturday, I would highly recomend not playing it, as it finishes VERY late, bubble bursting 2-3AM, final table 4-5 AM, finish ..... who knows!!!
