Great to see Groggy take this down, some karma for helping people out analysing their game and putting up with Team Moan. A right padawan moment for StayOrGo too.

Thanks for the thread, much appreciated given I couldn’t get down there. Hopefully be contesting in Notts.

A huge well done to rose Paul and groggs making the top4 so sky dominated.

Rose, as a person who's helped me out so much I am pleased to see you get top4.

Groggs you deserve this win, I will not see pros with the friendship like yourself, a very well done.

A massive congratulations to Paul for getting 3rd having made it via sat.

Finally a massive thank you to sky for another wonderful SPT looking forward to meeting you all at Nottingham

Congrats @FeelGroggy , very well played.
Well done @IrishRose , and other sky players on ft., fab tournament to play.
The organisation is superb, well done to tikay and all the sky staff, rendezvous casino staff were excellent.

As I only used one of the 2 seats I won, can I use it for a similar priced one? @Tikay10

    Hi @tomgoodun

For Nottingham, yes. (It's the same price entry).

Not sure how it would work in practice for Manchester GF as that's £550, but in principle, yes.

Has someone just told Groggster his pet has died?
Pretty close! It's the face you make when you completely punt off almost half your stack 4 minutes before the picture was taken and feel like a complete tool.

Thanks for the kind responses everyone, half expected to get a load of abuse by putting such a horrible beat on Tikay! Just glad I put them to good use.

That was the highlight of the updates.

Well done all who cashed...but especially 'no luck' @IrishRose ;) It was good to meet a few other names down there too.

Sorry I couldn't rail you to the FT as I found a proper back street boozer down there on Sunday and spent the day with some 'characters' who frequented the place.

Another well run SPT, as always. Well done to @Tikay10 on your min cash.

Well played grogs, and great updates tikay. When is at back at Glasgow, need to play one of these things?!

    Morning @Toffeeandy

The last 2 scheduled stops for 2019 are Nottingham (4th to 6th October) & Manchester (22nd to 24th November), so they don't currently have any Glasgow dates lined up I'm afraid.

At this moment in time, of course, I've no idea whether there will be an SPT in 2020, due to the imminent changes. Fingers crossed, & I guess we'll know soon enough.

By the way, very well done last night in the Mini Major, an excellent result, though I'm sure you'd have preferred one spot better.
No worries @Tikay10 , I missed the Glasgow date earlier in the year as had something else on, a trip to Nottingham or Manchester sounds appealing but I have a (nearly) 4-year old daughter and a wee boy on the way in early January so don't think I could square that with the wife! Hopefully the tour continues next year and the Glasgow date fits. Lastly, to you and all the team, keep up the good work!

Great result @FeelGroggy as everyone says thoroughly deserved as a great poker player and someone who helps others. Looking forward to Manchester, definitely going to get to that one.

    Thanks for the mention @bbMike

LOL. I had to look up what Padawan meant. :D

Yes great to see @FeelGroggy doing so well, I have no doubt Danny would have been just as successful with or without my help, but it was a pleasure helping him at the early stages of his career.

He was always keen to learn, open minded and asked the right questions as well as being a "Natural Poker Genius"

Good to hear that he is now helping others too, that's what makes the world go around.

Also have to mention @IrishRose who did fantastic too, a much improved player and lovely lady who totally deserved her success.

Also how great for the game to have two women in the top four, VWP Deborah too.

I love it when the good guys do well at these live events.

Great kudos for Sky Poker players, who often get an underrated reputation in the live scene.

Well done @Tikay10 and the team, looking forward to seeing many of you at the next one in Nottingham.

Wellplayed Groggs! Stayorgo! How much do you charge? :)

    Hi @KOBAYASHI

Quite surprised (nicely surprised) that I am getting some credit here, although as I said before, @FeelGroggy has a massive natural talent and would have been successful with or without my help.

I don't do formal coaching, but I am happy to help people out with their game (for free) on an adhoc basis, send me a PM if interested.

    Cheers.

@stayorgo certainly deserves credit for speeding up my improvement process, before I chatted to him about poker I was an extraordinarily tight breakeven player and he opened my eyes to how effective playing aggressively could be. We do differ much more now on how we play and approach poker, but I still think there are many players who's game Graham can add value to, especially if they err on the side of tightness. His sharkscope speaks for itself. It was over 4 years ago when Graham was an integral part of my improvement process and since then I would attribute a lot of improvement to myself/ other people. I will always have a lot of appreciation for Graham though, as without his input who knows how long I would have remained a breakeven nit!

Nice to see a Sky player finally win one of these. Think that's the first since they came back where locals allowed.

Very well done all, particularly Groggy and Rose

    Hi guys.

Following on from this, I may have missed some people off the email list. If you are expecting any emails/videos from me, please let me know, and apologies if I missed you first time around.
