I think @mumsie used the word possible to imply that the inevitable wasn't in fact inevitable but merely possible, if he hadn't used the word possible then it would indeed have been inevitable and it is debatable as to whether or not something could be possibly inevitable as that would seem to be impossible.

Doug Polk is fine imo. He was a good poster back in the day on 2p2 and very helpful to the players wanting to learn even as a teenager (I think) . He is American and things are quite Americanised. I don't enjoy the bravado thing as a Brit however he is a decent 🥚and a wind up merchant.
Leo I don't know however he is likely balancing the Daniel stuff. With Daniel he was casting stones etc while being a bit of a prat himself. Maybe that is something he has recently done more of?
