horse running today Leicester 13.50 all should put in notebook

David Pipe
this from David himself (ages ago)
name one horse in the yard to keep a very close eye on,Answer Anglers Crag
Not seen a racecourse in almost a year (could be anything)
Friday 18th Dec 2020,ran a 'modest' 3rd, beat 13 lengths,the winner? Sir Gerhard!
Sir Gerhard today as shorts as 4/1 for this years Supreme Novices
Anglers Crag today now available at 7/1 for its hurdle debut in a class 3 nine runner affair at Leicester 13.50 today.
9 runners 33/1 bar,front 3,a fifth odds 1 2 3 'be what called a filthy each way race' v the 2/7 hotpot.
Anglers had a year off, been with David a year (p.s,it has had the wind op)
below from 10th Nov 2020
Debut point-to-point winner Anglers Crag maintained his unbeaten record when landing the concluding Irish EBF (C&G) Point-To-Point Bumper at Fairyhouse today, scoring for trainer Terence O'Brien and jockey Darragh Allen.
The son of Multiplex won on debut at Ballindenisk in January and today, making his racecourse debut on reappearance, stayed on strongly to beat runner-up Split The Bucket by six lengths.
Afterwards O’Brien reported “to be honest I was hoping for that but we haven’t had a winner for a while and sometimes when that happens the confidence goes.
“He works nicely and won his point-to-point well.
He just stays galloping and is a gorgeous big chasing horse.
“He belongs to Derrick Mosson who is after sending me a couple of young horses. He’s based in England so he might go to David Pipe at some stage.
“We might have him for the season and if we do he could go to Leopardstown for a two and a half miles bumper.”
Quotes from Alan Magee
Summary, any nugget like this I pass on to Forum, race well worth watching,up to yourselves to conclude if a stretch your legs fact finding run,or...?
Mr Pipe rates this little horse highly.

    WELL DONE Paul :)

........like Terry @vaigret , I missed it too today. Lovely weather here in Cornwall so spent the day sorting part of next door's garden out for them. Hopefully the rays and Vitamin D will make up for missing ANGLERS CRAG

Cracker Jack of a card at Leopardstown this afternoon, every race a belter.
Worth a watch, Sir Gérhard runs in the 15.35.
Nine run Sir is even money.
    backing,watching,actually backed its stablemate.
Skybet BOG 15/2 are top of the market
    El Fabiolo 15/2 bog skybet 3 places a fifth odds 1 2 3
the visual impression this made when sauntering home in a Tramore maiden hurdle on new years day, was impressive, think this will front run.
I have backed, El Fabiolo ew single (little rev fcast with Sir Gerhard)
    13.50 Captain Guinness 11/2 a quarter 1 2 only 5 run
ew singles each & little ew double Captain 11/2 & El Fabiolo 15/2.
plus, Honeysuckle 2/9 & Chacun 4/7 double skybet boost 6/4 the double.

13.20,money back as cash if 2nd or 3rd!
Galopin Des Champs being whispered as a future Gold Cup horse.
If so, skybet effective 'free £10' bet!

Finally, a horse made me blub! yesterday, the same little horse that was about to win the 2020 Triumph Hurdle by a distance, go Goshen you little beauty. 👍
