cherry picking Cheltenham. Best Bets (nothing under 10/1)

misterpjmisterpj Member Posts: 3,204
doing the entire Festival Sun afternoon, live prices, nothing be added to this after today.
approx 13 bets
bare with me, take a couple hours, rest assured busting everything, only point in placing all bets now.
The expectation of Shanghaing the prices.
Convinced got a couple of crackerjacks, all minimum 10/1
Day 1.
R 2 14.10 Sporting Life Arkle 11 decs
Filthy each way value bet 1/5 the odds a place 1 2 3 4
not the most appropriate name,but, 40/1 to snaffle a place 1 2 3 4 is rude.
2 betting points each way WAR LORD
backed Edwardstone all rates, Blue Lord looks a mighty horse (front 2 in betting, 11/4 & 4/1)
1/2 point combo fcast (6 bets 3 points staked)
War Lord Blue Lord Edwardstone.

Thanks for taking the time to post this @misterpj. I very much enjoy the big horse racing meetings but it's not one of the sports I research much or bet for much profits on, I'm always open to tips from knowledgable backers. I've had a wee fiver e/w on War Lord.

Good luck to you PJ hope you have a great week.

don't forget, at the time placed, 'our bets had the terms that applied'
Inc nrnb & the place terms.
so both Negra & Thyme late non runners (ground) nrnb, no damage.
And, Shan Blue today, we are on 1 2 3 (smaller field, the better) 2 are out, 7 left.
    Love Envoi, we got some value, 12s 1 2 3,tis into 6s 3rd fav.
For the race readers,re watch Saint Segal, cantering, going way best jumping 3 out, this is Chelts, possible the finishing 3f downhill/uphill undulations not suit it.
I am thinking Aintree (flat track) next for Segal.
For me anyway, that 'frank's Porticello' Triumph horse, who beat Segal near 10 L.
Now off to do, a rain dance, want it soft / heavy for Friday.
    Best of luck.
been waiting 6 weeks for 1,its entered Kempton Monday.
If it gets let loose, will post it.
