To be fair to Robbie he has always done his bit for charitable causes in Stoke, from his "Give it Some" foundation to visits and donations to special needs groups he has never forgotten his roots (Red Lion pub, Burslem).

If he buys the Fail he will at least have them all in one place.

Swansea City. So close to the big boys.

Cristiano Ronaldo signed for all the big teams.

Then there was Ronaldinho-the Brazilian played for a host of big clubs.

Then there was the original Ronaldo-again, an elite Brazilian footballer.

Swansea have just signed some Brazilian geezer called Ronald :)

Ronald impressed during Swansea CIty's defeat to Plymouth on Saturday

Great support but I can only see 12 fans for the 11 hour 640 mile round trip.

Huge football rule change to be introduced with BLUE CARD and players dumped in 10-minute sin bin.

Football chiefs are set to introduce a major disciplinary change with the addition of BLUE CARDS, it's been claimed.

And sin-bin trials are set to be rolled out in a series of shock trials set to be announced on Friday.

That's according to The Telegraph, who claim the International Football Association Board have agreed to the introduction of the new card - the major disciplinary change since the introduction of yellow and red cards back in 1970.

Players will face ten-minute stints in the sin bin if they are guilty of committing a cynical foul or if they show dissent towards the referee, linesman or fourth official.

Blues cards have already successfully been trialled at the grassroots level in Wales.

The colour was reportedly chosen over orange over fears there could be confusion between yellow and red cards.

IFAB will announce the revolutionary rule change on Friday, although it won't be implemented at the top level straight away.

Elite competitions will be "excluded" from the initial testing phase due to the possibility of teething problems.

Trials at the top level, however, could get underway this summer.

Sun Sport understands it could be incorporated into FA competitions including the Trophy and Vase, but will not be introduced into the FA Cup.

Neither Euro 2024 nor next season's Champions League will include Sin Bins after protestations from Uefa chief, Aleksander Ceferin,

When pressed for his thoughts on blue cards and sin bins, he told The Telegraph last month: “It’s not football anymore.”

Football has gone , what's the point , we have yellow and red cards, refs should be more proactive with with the cards they have if they want to stamp out the cynicalness instead the powers that be want to make even more of a farce
    It's a red card from me :/

I think today we saw the old truth, you can have owners who buy multi million pound players, but they cannot, for all their wealth , buy passionate support.
Chelsea and their ridiculously expensive squad, were desperately in need of a lift from the stands, but it was Liverpool, who I have no love for at all, Ronnie Whelan shouldn’t have been on the park, who showed how true support can uplift and carry a team to victory.

    @lucy4

Rodney Marsh was such a character, highly skilled with the ball too, spent most of his career with QPR.

Two other huge names in that 'photo if I'm not mistaken, Pele, & Liverpool's Tommy Smith?
