Question by @Helissio2 on a separate thread...

"Sky Poker is great for PLO Hi/Lo - do we keep all the MTT games and heads up games when we move?"

Do you know yet if the Rewards Freeroll will be staying or going? Would be sad to see it go. It's the main thing that keeps me nominally profitable 😂

Will sky deal with investigating bot complaints?

This would get passed over to the ipoker game integrity team to investigate.

Hello @Sky__James, just wondering if you had updates on 2 particular things.

1/ has there been any developments regarding rake for spin up games after the move?
2/ do you know if there will be uk/sky only 100bb cash games after the move?

    thanks

Three days since this valid question hasn't been answered. In my estimation quads has spent in the tens of thousands on rake playing cash games. Maybe even into 6 figures.

No other industry would treat customers like this, the question has been asked a few times now. Sky Poker seem to think its ok to look after a handful of HUSNG regs who have monopolised the games for many years and never play each other, and yet a player pool of not only regs but more importantly recs have been ignored.

Poor form Sky, I have tried iPoker and wouldn't recommend any sky player migrates over. We all will give the new site a try, but its riddled with having a bad reputation with bots, to regs that quite literally are only motivated grinding hours each day to make a income through rakeback in Eastern Europe.

I'm probably not going to continue on here after the merger, i was wondering if anyone has an opinion on the poker at bet365? Thinking of going there instead.

Unless it has changed recently, it is an i-poker skin. You will be getting mostly the same games as Sky going forward.

The only difference would be the unique games. I don't think Bet365 have that many. No idea on new player offers, rakeback etc

There are ringfenced games on 365, so you can play cash against sportsbook customers as opposed to the whole iPoker network. I haven't played there for years, but the software is fine and there's a decent amount of gameplay.

Hi Quadsy, I have proposed to ipoker we carry our current rake model across as the cap for spins would be too high if we used their standard one.

Very likely we have 100bb cash tables. I don't want to give players a reason to play elsewhere.

We will have more exclusive games to play and also a more generous and transparent loyalty scheme than them. I believe they have some type of random reward system.

I appreciate and accept that these things take time. And that it necessarily involves negotiation with i-poker and others.

Turning to MTTs, we have been given no indication whatsoever as to the extent of unique MTTs. And I'm sure I am not the only 1 who wants to be given reasons to stay.

I don't expect final decisions-I do expect to be roughly at the same stage as DYM/Cash game players in terms of planning.

Thank you for clarifying James. It is in Sky's best interests commercially to ringfence as much of the current offering as possible, rather than just becoming another ipoker skin.

Just looking at a few other sites, it does appear that they offer a better rakeback deal so with all things remaining equal being in a big player pool sky would lose quite literally hundreds of cash game players, both regs and recs when they realised how bad the gameplay is.

Our MTT schedule will be pretty similar to what it is now but with slightly lower guarantees in places with the odd MTT removed. I'm expecting a decrease in liquidity due to the bigger network MTTs so don't want to go too big on launch and then have to chop a load.

ipoker have more features and formats available such as mystery bounties we can offer so looking at options but I know the Sky base love the 75/25 PKOs so these will be the most common MTTs still. If a player only wants to play the ringfenced Sky MTTs they will have plenty to play every day.

I agree and I hope our players will see it as a best of both worlds situation.
