At the end of May, Sky Poker will be joining the iPoker network to enhance your gaming experience and we'll be bringing you bigger prizes, better promotions and more varied games.
iPoker is one of the biggest and most trusted poker networks in the world. It will enable us to offer you a smoother gaming experience with a fresh new look, as well as improved site features, including the addition of more Poker variants such as the popular Twister games.
Being part of the iPoker network also means we can run a larger variety of promotions utilising the superior software and tools available.
Don’t worry, we will continue to run a selection of Sky exclusive games and promotions we know you love.
We look forward to sharing this new experience with you.

Will you have to create a new account or keep the existing?
Will you need to send ID for your first withdrawal?
Most importantly , are you keeping the £2 deepstacks and the £1 rebuys ?
Am sure there'll be a lot of questions asked. Personally don't really know what to expect at the end of May when the changes take place, but hopefully Sky can keep us all updated with everything when further details are available.
@stokefc
I'm a little short on detail myself tbh, but as far as i can tell....
It will be in Great British Pounds, as all the SB& G sites are. (SEE EDIT)
You will not need to create a new Sky Poker account, your existing account will transfer across.
Since when did you make withdrawals?
There will be plenty of "budget" Deepies & Rebuys.
EDIT - small correction required.
Players playing in network games will be playing in Euros but the Sky exclusive games will be in £s
They can, & will. The recent speculation was unfortunate, as the news was under "embargo", announcements cannot be made in big Businesses until all the boxes are ticked, especially the legalities, so it was not possible to announce until now.
I am 100% sure that once the changeover takes place, everything will be much much better. It'll likely be a bumpy road, these transitional phases are complex, but Sky Poker will get there & it's presence is now 100% assured for the foreseeable future, which has not always been the case.
Some customers won't like it & will maybe fall by the wayside, but the decision is correct & for the greater good of Sky Poker. It's a great day for Sky Poker.
Will the ‘Sky exclusive games’ be UK ringfenced? Or will the MTT schedule and cash games be shared with all ipoker skins?
Will we still have UKOPS? If not, will we get one in May, one for the road?
Will spin-ups be put in the bin where they belong?
Excited to see what the move brings, thanks for the announcement.
Cheers
Both "Sky exclusive games" & networked i-poker games will be available.
UKOPS has not really been addressed yet, as the next one would not be until October/November, but if the move goes well there's no reason why UKOPS would end.
Spin-Ups? I'm not sure that's been looked at yet, more news on that once it becomes available.
SPT's WILL continue throughout 2025, basically the same schedules & venues as usual. This includes SPT Las Vegas.
No idea about 2026, that's too far ahead to speculate really. SPT's for the following year are looked at towards the end of each year, so a decision on 2026 won't be made for a while yet.
The schedule details have yet to be finalised Ryan, as soon as they are we'll let you know.
On "Sky Only" MTT's I would imagine Sky Poker can tweak the structures as they see fit. On the Networked ones, no, they are what they are.
Great to have an official announcement. I welcome the change and look forward to it.
One thing worth mentioning is that you can only have one iPoker skin open at a time.
So, for example, if Grosvenor have some good UK exclusive iPoker games on their skin (GUKPT) and Sky also have their own that becomes an issue as UK customers have to choose one or the other?
Maybe too early to speculate but possibly some collaboration between Sky and Grosvenor with regards to GUKPT/SPT/UKOPS games?
Sorry if this has already been discussed / alluded to, but does this mean that things like the monthly promotions will be put in the bin? And will there be a total change to the usual Sky interface? Essentially, I'm after a bit of clarity over how much autonomy Sky will be relinquishing / retaining over their own platform, and how much will essentially be afforded to iPoker. Thanks
Yes that is the plan.
With promotions there will be network promos which we can choose whether or not to run on Sky alongside our own exclusive promotions similar to what we run now. So we will still retain a lot of control over things.

Hiya James
Good to hear about the change, and I'm sure we will all get used to it, and the software can only be much better.
Pity about the Forum closing, but i suppose it means @Tikay10 might be able to get his Golf handicap down
How are you enjoying 'Life on the Rock' ?
All the best mate
