Hey sean we have a great history of backside goals, remember the one at Cardiff off Sulemaines rear when he got in the way of James Oconnors shot to send us to the play off final against Brentford which we then won.

Lots of ar5ses have scored in the last few days, MaGuire, probably being the most notable.

Oulares ar$e is legendary 2-1 down after the 1st leg and their announcer telling the Cardiff fans to stay off the pitch then up pops Oulare with a last minute winner off his arris to make it 2-0 , wonderful, also Deon Burton scoring a last minute goal in the 1st leg to keep us in it

So, it's nothing to do with her actual ability as a pundit...

Take a really close look and tell me that's not Michael Jackson in Thriller. That's why she's awful as a pundit.

Eni Aluko's apology to Ian Wright.

Ian Wright's reply to the apology.

Ian Wright rejects Eni Aluko’s apology as he breaks silence on her accusation.

In a video posted on Instagram, Wright expressed deep disappointment, stating he “can’t accept” the apology. He highlighted his extensive support for Aluko, both publicly and privately, and referenced prior conversations with her and his management, implying her comments were inconsistent with their past interactions.

Wright, a long-time advocate for women’s football, has been praised for actions like funding a player’s £1,700-a-month ACL rehabilitation and advocating for equal access to school sports for girls, which influenced government policy.

As can be heard in his Instagram video, he says: “I have to talk about this week, and what’s going on. I don’t wanna endlessly be asked about it. I gotta say I’m very disappointed by what Eni has said. She knows how I’ve helped her, supported her publicly. And I know the previous conversations, she’s had with me and my management.

“So for me, I’ve seen apology, on social media, but I can’t accept it. But I also wanna move on from it.

Reminded me of the great Tommy Docherty gag.

He had just become Manager at Wolves. He was asked about the expectations for success. His reply?

Just opened the Trophy Cabinet and 2 Japanese Prisoners of War came out...

Tottenham to hold open-top bus parade to celebrate Arsenal not winning title.

Tottenham Hotspur have announced they will have their own open-top bus parade to celebrate Arsenal not winning this year’s Premier League title.

Liverpool beat Spurs 5-1 on Sunday to secure their 20th league title, with Tottenham now making preparations to celebrate Arsenal’s heartbreak by organising an open-top bus parade.

“This is the best day of my life,” said Spurs fan Simon Williams.

“I know we still have a chance to win the Europa League, but I’m not sure anything can top this. What a performance from Liverpool. They truly came through for us this year, and I couldn’t be prouder of the boys.

“It was probably a bit cocky, but we’ve already had our own trophy made up in advance to celebrate this momentous occasion. It has ‘Arsenal Didn’t Win the League’ engraved on the front of it, along with a little picture of Mikel Arteta crying. If you think the Liverpool fans are loud, just wait until you hear our rendition of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’. It’s spine-tingling.

“I’ve also been debating whether to get Salah on the back of my Spurs shirt. It’s between him or Van Dijk. Or I suppose I could get one of our own players on the back?

    “Nah, better stick with Salah.”

My son was pleased Liverpool won the title.

Why? He's a Spurs fan, but he's not interested in Arsenal not winning the title. He is only 24, and so too young to remember Arsenal ever winning it.

He was working behind a Bar. Pub was empty. So he'd already had a couple of Shandies. Then a Liverpool fan came in with a Bottle of Champagne and insisted he shared it.

    Still asleep now :)

ITV backs Ian Wright as punditry row casts doubt over Eni Aluko’s future.

ITV has offered strong public backing to Ian Wright in its first public comment since he was criticised by Eni Aluko. Last Wednesday, Aluko said Wright “should be aware of” how much punditry work he was doing in women’s football and that it was important “women are not being blocked from having a pathway into broadcasting in the women’s game”.

An ITV spokesperson said: “Ian’s standing in the sport is beyond question. As one of the UK’s most respected and much-loved footballers and sporting broadcasters, with a career spanning nearly four decades, Ian is an incredible advocate, ally and brilliant broadcaster of women’s football from a grassroots level as well as at the highest international competitions.”

She spends more time traumatised and upset than any 3 people I know. Makes @Doubleme look like a stoic monolith by comparison. No doubt we will have to endure the mental health issues she will promote next.

Leaving tribal allegiances to 1 side.

I think Ian Wright is a giant in the Men's game. And an even bigger giant in the Women's game.

I sometimes get mildly irritated when ex-women's footballers talk about the men's game. Because there really is little or no correlation between women's football 10 years ago, and the women's game now-never mind the men's. But some do it excellently.

Similarly, it is essential that ex-men's footballers actually understand the women's game. Like Ian Wright.

Couldn't agree more Phil. I have no love for Arsenal at all but the lady that Ian Wright has funded treatment for played for Stoke Ladies.

Great player, good pundit, fantastic person.
